I didn't have a long time such a good meat as Hunter's steak with mushrooms and local speciality - späcle?...very tasty , with salad... absolut satisfaction:) view is on kind of summer bobslide arena, what is sometimes funny

Great lunch

We stopped in this pension just to eat something on the way home and we were really satisfied.  Food was great, prices were great and waiter was super nice. This place is really nice and for our next trip to lake Konstanz we will stop here again.

Dinner stop

We needed a nice place to overnight on a long car journey. An internet search brought us here and we were very happy. The food was good, staff (Mom and son plus others) were very welcoming and patient (as we could only speak English or Dutch). Room was large, clean and comfortable. Would return sometime for a longer stay.

Traditional and very comfortable

We stopped here after driving around lakes and we were ready to eat. Fairly traditional rural German place, clean spacious. Nice beer and food, standard menu really, some English spoken enough for us to get by with our limited German , finally produced an English menu. ( helps )

Road side big traditional guest house , restaurant

This was our second trip to Immenstadt.  It is a lovely area with a nice trail around the lake for a gentle walk or bike ride, and there is a lot of fun to be had taking the lift up the mountain and the LONG roddlebahn back down.  While up there, you can have lunch, listen to live music, hike up higher (and stop for drinks and snacks at another little family run place higher up) or even enjoy a ropes course in the trees.  It is a fun town for a weekend visit.

This is the nicer of the two places we have stayed in the area.  We had a quad room and were very surprised at how big it was.  There was a small first room with one twin bed in it and the larger main room had a double bed, twin bed and table for four with plenty of space to maneuver around it all and a large wardrobe.  There was also a good sized deck with 4 chairs and two round tables.

Everything was VERY clean and there were no lingering "old hotel" odors or smells of cigarette smoke, etc.  

The towels were older and thin and the down pillows were too flat--but those are the only minor issues--and we couldn't beat the price and really appreciated the spaciousness and cleanliness as well as the very friendly owners.

Breakfast was included and was a good sized buffet of a typical German nature.  Tea or coffee (your choice) was brought to the table and juice was on the buffet.  There were rolls, butter, nutella and jams, yogurt, granolas, soft boiled eggs, deli meats and cheese, and fresh fruit.

We ended up eating both our dinners there was well.  The prices were good, the portions HUGE (think American style) and the food and service very good.  We priced some other local places for the second night, but decided that the menu and the prices at the Jagerhaus were more appealing.

The Jagerhaus is DIRECTLY across the street from the lift and Roddelbahn--making it very convenient to visit.

Overall, I can really recommend this place as long as you are up for "traditional German" (no fancy TVs, no wi-fi, those older towels).  It is long on charm and value and short on problems.

Nice place, large rooms, great price

Little bit old fashioned but well located in the area. Breakfast is OK, large rooms are clean and functional. Wifi does not cover all rooms. Restaurant with standard local food.
We tried to contact by mail and phone without success as knowing the area since years. Finally we got a room by Booking.com.
