We know the Bausewein family from last year (so we spent a wine afternoon in the magnificent garden) and from some wine online tastings in winter 2020/21. The great hospitality and joy of nature and wine encompass us as we enter the small hotel (10 rooms). Our spacious purpose-built rooms in a quiet location overlooking the city wall provided good sleep, the large guest living room with a small terrace and a well-filled wine cabinet for nice conversations with other guests.

Family - warm - quiet - small and individual

It's a small, family-friendly hotel with a wine cellar, beautifully furnished with a sunny terrace and restaurant, big rooms on the edge of the old town, wine tastings and wine excursions.

Family hotel

If you're going on a wine trip to Iphofen, you should stay in this nice little hotel. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and relaxed. In the spacious rooms you sleep very quietly and without any comforts. The lovingly prepared breakfast is very varied and delicious. You can see the good spirit of the family building wine everywhere. There are plenty of parking spaces.

Small, quiet and yet in the middle of the old town

This is not the first time we have spent an extended weekend with the Bausewein family at the Old Town Hotel. We already knew the lovingly prepared breakfast, this time we were also pampered in the wine cellar with delicious local dishes in the evening. Special wishes at dinner were fulfilled and at the end of our stay Mrs. Bausewein gave us another delicious black bread with oatmeal for wine. We are happy to come back.

Cozy little hotel with personal care

Located in the heart of the old town of Iphofen. A very nice little hotel. In the car park nearby. The reception was warm and friendly. There is a living room with wine fridge and children's corner. In the evening we ate at the restaurant. Honest and very tasty Frankish specialities. Good wines. Moreover, the main thing is the brousse wine - a dry and fresh sparkling wine. The restaurant was a big birthday party. So we had a very fun evening. The breakfast was very rich and well-chosen. Self-made loaves. For our family there is a small kitchen and a high chair. The rooms are clean, tidy and decorated. We will definitely come over to the Iphouse wine shop again, thank you.

Very nice hotel that we visited several times during the last few years.
wonderful clean and big rooms with nice beds.
Service is superand they have a nice winestube( wine restaurant) where they serve wellcooked food using local ingredienses.
we will definately be back again next year
