Clean, friendly, good food, the owner Marion Schreier goes out of her way to accommodate people, nothing is a problem, solutions are looked for and found. I have been staying at this place on several occasions since 2017 and every time it’s like visiting dear friends.

Liked the style, liked hospitable staff, designed rooms, relaxed atmosphere, tasty Buffet breakfast,  good price. small village around. Has a walking path. To get there car is necessary. For evening they have a restaurant with good menu, fast service. Recommend.  

Nice to stay 

I thought after traveling for 10 days in Europe and staying in 9 different hotels and B&B like places, it was hard to impress me, but this place was IT!
If I even will remember THE ONE best place from my 14 days trip in Europe it will be this one. As always we accidentally happened to be in this area ( was not really  on our itinerary), but I am so glad glad we did get lost this time. 
If you want real authentic experience in local place to stay, plus visit Alps- this is the one. 
Room was amazing- more like suite with living area, and bedroom and very airy bathroom. And if you have not strength to do anything ( like we did after checking in) just open a window and listen bell ringing from church every 15 minutes and bells on cows right next to hotel in the field. 
And seems like it is very popular place for hiking in Alps ( they have maps everywhere), too bad all in German, but you can figure out and hike around ( and it what we did next morning). 
I just wish I could spend there a week or so :-) 
Hope to be back there one day.

The best experience!

This was a good experience. We got a nice room with a good shower and a huge private balcony. Very calm location with quite many guests. Not receiving 5 stars rating due to the breakfast which was not worth remembering. Otherwise a good choice to stay

Nice authentic gasthaus in the country side

Very nice family run gasthof. Perfect location in the mountains. Very good base to travel around.
Very clean acommodation, perfect breakfasts, very tasty dinners. Reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. I recommend the place! The only problem is not existing wifi connection.

Classic

The property was difficult to find without a GPS.  It is located in Bolsternang, which is important the know when looking for the hotel. The rooms were clean and of typical European standard, which is sparse but sufficient.  The room had a very large balcony which was unusually large for a hotel.  Dinner was very good but breakfast was very basic, do not expect a large variety, but this is normal for Germany.    What was nice was you could hear the cows with their bells tinkling as they grazed in the nearby fields.
