We found this place over Eurocampings. Unfortunately our camping card is only valid in the off-season, so we paid the full price. The plots are very big, the RVs, the sheds and the cars fit loosely. So it is concealed to me how some can judge it to be too small. Also we find the showers not outdated and there are also enough, even these negative reviews are concealed to us. The electricity is really too expensive. For a week we paid over €20, while in a place in Dithm, we paid just eight euros for electricity for a week. That's in a very odd ratio.

Very nice campsite

We booked a beach with sea view for 2 nights, including electricity. Price 112€ for 2 people. I think it's extremely expensive. WiFi reception for 4€ (24hrs) was inadequate at stand 56. The restaurant was (O-text at the door), in the winter break in June?? so we had to eat in the nearest place. The sea was visible if you went further to the steep coast or lay on the square. So beautiful where in the chair unfortunately not visible due to the high bushes. The high tree line on the steep coast prevents the TV from receiving. The terrain around the sanitary facilities and the restaurant we find unfit. The sanitary facilities were not clean. We were not able to get back.

Price/performance is not right for us.

We (2 people) were there for a few days in August, during which time there was a problem with the wastewater, the sanitary area was often 'flooded' with dirty water. When I reported this to the reception desk, there was not much response, the problem was'sold out'. The amounts charged on our transponders (36.40€ for two days) were fully charged, although we had consumed only a very small fraction.

We had no reservation, and we asked for a vacant place, and the staff were very unfriendly and snapped at us, so instead of visiting the campsite, we left the campsite immediately.

Unfriendly staff

Our family stayed in July 2019 in one of the Ferienhaus. The cottage was very good. It had comfortable beds for 4 people. In addition one child can easily sleep on the sofa. There is a functional kitchen and own bathroom. We also had a nice terrace and a backyard where to enjoy the evenings and look at the sea.

The location of the site is really good. It is right by the sea and there are steps leading to the beach.

I would give the camping site 5 stars if there wasn't the staff who clearly are not in their dream job. Most of the staff are unfriendly and at times even rude. Maybe that is their strategy to avoid us tourists asking too much questions. A more positive behaviour towards clients would do this place good.

Nice cottage at the camping site by the sea, staff rude

We stayed here for 3 nights in July, sadly not blessed with the best weather the site is still wonderful but we do recommend you pay the extra for a sea view pitch.  As others have mentioned the on-site shop is limited but a large supermarket is just 1km up the road.  Lots of lovely restaurants in local towns nearby. 

We enjoyed this site, and Rugen, and will come back again to explore for longer.

We booked one of the four mobile homes, small but equipped with everything you need, for example, for three weeks or more to explore and love this island in the spring.

It's hardly getting any better!

Very nice in the dunes, tents, electricity possible. Everything you need to park centrally and carry your belongings to most places. Partly nice views to the beach / sea, direct access to the beach. The parking spaces of the mobile homes are rather less attractive. Clean sanitation, for warm water you pay extra. This personnel is nordically distanced to rather unfriendly and little service oriented.

Nice beach tents, rather boring for mobile homes

Following the seaside resort of Breege Juliusruhe, in front of Cape Arkona is the small town of Drewoldke, at the end of the campsite of Knaus right on the steep coast of the Baltic Sea. The four of us had one of about a dozen holiday homes, the majority of which are people with their camping car here. Clean ambience, bicycle rental, bread service, restaurant, direct access to the sea, children's playground. Holiday homes are available for four people. Terrace to sit out with sea view, barbecues. Interior layout is good, Ikeastil. Microwave, two cooking machines, coffee machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, big minutes. In the nearby Drewoldke Place Camp Breaker is a convenient location. A cafe can be reached with a 5-hour drive with a supermarket, a supermarket with a supermarket, a supermarket with a supermarket, a supermarket with a supermarket and a coffee shop.

Baltic Sea on the ground

Unless you're a DCC member. After reading the description on the website, we decided to take this place for our summer vacation in 2018. Since we're a DCC member, we also pay only €16 per night for 2 adults and one child during peak season. Showering is also included for us. This price is completely fine. At the normal price (€36.40) we would have been quite annoyed, however. (like some place neighbors). On the one hand, 4 showers for men and women for 140 places is a frequency. On the other hand, we understand the shower billing. You get an access ticket, booked on the floor, which is then deleted. It's unfortunately 40 minutes in a positive way. On the other hand, you shouldn't really trust two people to go past a beach, otherwise there is no way to go to a sandy area around the Metall.
