If you would like to visit Kassel for a short time nd wanna spend less money, just reserve a room in the Motel 24. it is well cleaned, free wifi and so close to the bus station. about 30 minutes from the downtown of Kassel. service there is also good.

Place for short time visit

Stayed here for a single night going from Denmark to France via E45 Autobahn. We booked this motel 4hrs prior to arriving, using a smartphone. Booking was simple and fast. Check-in was easy, done with machine at the entrance. Just typed in booking ref, which was taped to the machine next to my name by the reception since we arrived after reception closing hr.

Price is as cheap as it gets = 33 Eur for 3 pers room or 48 Eur incl breakfast. Room is simple but clean. Room had sink, and TV. Perfect for just sleeping.

Note: There is no private bathroom/toilet in the room, these are shared and located in the hallway. These are cleaned automatically (robot?) after every time door is opened/closed. Clever solution. 

Breakfast was not exciting but was adequate before a long drive. I would stay here again if we need to make an overnight stop.

Be aware that autobahn exit nearest the hotel is closed for construction until Oct2015, so recommend using GPS Navigation finding the motel.

Just with a little more care the Motel would be a lot better.  
Spider web and insects overall.  
Got a smoking room when I explicity wished a non-smoking room, the answer was "We are full".  The blanket for the small bed was just a long piece of linen that couldn't be used to sleep.

More care with cleaninig is needed

It's good located, the prise it's also not bed.   I will not recommended the breakfast - only in situation that you have no other chose. The room and the toilets were clean, nothing to complain about it. The stuff nice. Prize&Leistung ok

Value for money. Good to stay if you are on road. minimum formality. Close to motorway. We stay there for one night. Wall is thin so you can hear all noises around. There if free parking and free Wi Fi. Recommend to short stay.
