I don't understand a client who pays a low price and demands the same as another hotel with high rates.This hotel is well located in Koblenz, is clean and has comfortable beds.In addition, it is noisy and serves a very reasonable breakfast for 7€.It is.It lacks many details, especially in the bathroom, but in return offers the hospitality of its owner and an affordable price to travel without large expenses.I think it is a fair change.

No details, but enough.

My brother and I arrived at the hotel tired from our bike tour. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful to us storing our bikes, and directed us to a good bar/restaurant for that evening, and gave us a city plan map and drew a suggested route to see all of the sights in Koblenz. The room was big and the beds extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was large and very good value.

I was disappointed when I saw the low trip advisor score and feel the owners deserve better. If you want luxury, pay for it. If you want somewhere comfortable and good value to stay with great hosts who have a laugh and a joke, this hotel is perfect. It was perfect for us cycling the Rhine cycling route, but I think it would be good for a family too.

Not luxury, but lovely

Had booked accommodation in this hotel a month in advance, on the night of our arrival our flight was delayed so we arrived at the property at little after midnight. We couldn't find anybody to check us in, the contact number would not answer and after ringing the call bell a man shouted out the window that we cannot check in. He claimed to have no English and left us without accommodation! I don't know if he worked there or not but we think he did, as the door bell woke him.

Not ideal to be left with nowhere to stay, would avoid if you have an evening flight!!

We studied the hotels available before booking this place,and from the postings this came up about the best.hate to see the other joints then.
We arrived the couple that greeted us were very pleasant we paid cash, there is no eftpos at all.No internet and our local Vodafone sim had no reception so we were cut off for the night which is not ideal.
The room was small bed was very comfortable but the bathroom had no soap luckily we come well prepared, the shower was old not well set up at all.no toiletries provided no tea or coffee making facilities in your room.
The idea of what they are trying to do is a good one but no money spent on the place so it is old and full of junkie decorations.
A good paint job and new furniture would go along way to helping.if you are a keen walker they provide directions over the bridge to the old town with spectacular view of the castle and a cable car runs daily.the shopping district is a short walk taxi was a rip off to hotel, we walked back to the train this morning probably 2 kms.shopping district has good restaurants and is a pleasant experience.

Very basic

Stayed here for one night, room very spacious and owners very accommodating and helpful. Room was clean and well presented, hotel is located just across the river from most of the bars and restaurants so very close to the night life. Would use again, excellent basic place to stay.

Very nice place to stay

The hotel was located on the other side of the Moselle to the Old Town and gives a very old, simple and tasteless impression. The access to the room was only via the unpaved courtyard and a narrow winding staircase. The bed, floor and bathroom were clean. The towels and bedding were clean but old and heavily washed. The breakfast was served only meaty. The buns were cut and pappig, the winners were swimming in oil.

Bicycle tourist hotel

We felt so welcome and loved this tranquil hotel, tucked away in a quiet street but so close to the old town.  Our hosts were truly wonderful people who made us feel totally relaxed and at home.  We did not want to leave!

a haven!

My experience was bad, the hotel is disgusting: dirty saunas, worn-out towels and roadsides, besides that I only give you 4 bathroom-sized towels with which you have to dress like a towel, a hair towel, a face towel and 1 that you have to spend like a carpet... to pay no nos dieron or receipt, no bill, nothing, of breakfast I don't tell you anything because we dare not eat anything there, the doors and walls look like paper, if you listen to everything and I assure you that you won't miss or want to scream. Let's never go back to that hotel.
