A room without view, we booked this hotel because I wanted a Rhine view room.
I got a view of a kiosk, large tree, parking lot and on tippy-toes a bit of the Rhine. 
However after a long day driving, we just wanted to relax, walk a bit, have a few beers and some good food. 
The trainline is directly behind the hotel not very good if you are a light sleeper. 
The room was clean, the bathroom small but the high step into the shower was borderline dangerous.

After our walk, we settled in the beer garden, the Menu was a choice of one, OVERPRICED & TASTELESS Flammekueche
We also discovered the beer was the most expensive in all our tour of Germany / Europe.
We were both rather shocked, that when we paid he almost demanded a tip, so rude.
On a plus side, the breakfast room & breakfast was very nice.
NOTE: There is no WIFI anywhere in the hotel or beer garden
Parking is charged daily

Over priced & money grabbing stay

This hotel is a true diamond that we were lucky to book . The location is excellent - about 12km. north of Boppard and directly on the Rhine Bike Trail . The hotel restaurant was very unassuming from the outside but the interior is quite appealing . 
Very reasonable price point with a really great clean and bright room . Room was updated and very comfortable. Our balcony looked out over the Rhine where watched multiple barges and river boats traveling up and down the river . 
The manager and his colleague was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly , very helpful and full of interesting information. He actually carried up our two bike trailers into our rooms . Great inside bicycle storage . 
The restaurant was closed on the Monday we stayed there but they prepared us pommes , homemade Goulash and flamkuchen/flatbread . It was really delicious and they even had apple strudel for dessert .
Truly a great experience.

A place well worth your stay !!

We were greeted by Stellos with a handshake and a warm welcome who showed us to our room which was not large but that was fine for us there is no lift here only stairs as its a old building be aware if you are tall like myself you need to duck down in some places in the hotel The breakfast was ok and a great price and the staff very polite I was really impressed with the presentation of the meals in the restaurant were Stellos also looked after us really well The Hotel is not really close to city but bus is only 5 min walk to city and there is not much around the hotel not even a shop The trains at night do make some noise but they supply ear plugs if needed which we didn't

Enjoyed the location of this modest but well-run hotel. Took dinner in the riverside patio and we’re delighted with the balmy summer evening and river activity. Hotel had an 80s vibe but was clean and pleasant. breakfast was the best of our whole trip—lots of choice! Would stay again. 

Peaceful evening in the Rhein

Fabulous hotel, very warm welcome from the moment we stepped inside, was shown to our room, a lovely little room with a balcony overlooking the Rhine. Had a few drinks in the bar, very good German beer!!! then dinner, great schnitzel. Lovely hot shower and very clean and comfortable bed. Would recommend this hotel a great find.

Little Goldmine!!!

We stayed here 1 night. Staff was friendly. Room was clean, bathroom a litlle bit small. Also the temperature of the water varied quite a lot. Bed was good. Interior is quite old fashioned, bit we didn't bother. Hotel is just near the train tracks, we didn't bother, but if you are a light sleeper and have a room on the 'trainside', it could be a problem. Breakfast was not included, it costs 7 euro. No warm dishes but nice breakfast for 7 euro. Hotel is a bit far from the citycenter (6,4 km.), we went to the center by car. I think the price is too high for a hotel so far from the citycenter/we payed 100 euros for 2 persons/1 night/breakfast. You should get more for that amount of money.

Ok but overpriced

You can't get it more German - a Biergarten am Rhein.  That is part of the hotel and restaurant Zur Kripp, some four miles from the center for Koblenz and a perfect starting point to explore the stretch of the Rhine south of Koblenz.
We had a room in the old part of the hotel.  It was a cosy attic room conveniently furnished with Ikea furniture - and there's nothing wrong with that.  The room was very clean.  They have a good, continental buffet breakfast. So far the good part.
It was hot in the room.  We only had a smallish roof window that I nearly broke while trying to open it.  The window must be shut when it rains - fortunately we had dry days.
The train runs every ten minutes close to the hotel - I guess with a room facing the river instead of the railroad track, we had just moderate noise from it.  Rooms facing the other side will hear much more.  By the way, a we did have a river view - when we climbed on the chair to stick our heads out of the window.  The shower was one moment cold, the other too hot to stand under it.
There is no elevator in the hotel - nearly inaccessible for disabled.
It was the one of the cheapest hotels near Koblenz - but for 95 euros a night you can expect some more.
