A very comfortable room, in between the main train station and the city center. You can walk almost everywhere in Koblenz because it's quite small and this was a good location, about 8 minutes walk from the main shopping areas, and maybe around 10-12 from the historic city center.
As this was a business trip necessary in the middle of the pandemic, I had no contact whatsoever with the hotel owners. I was able to retrieve my key from an automatic box out front and made my way easily to my room. This was very comfortable (very comfy mattresses!) and spotlessly clean. 
The small tea and coffee station came in handy. I cannot comment on the soundproofing because I think there may only have been one or two other people staying there. But the double-glazed windows certainly shut out all the noise from outside. 
This is more like a guesthouse or family-run hotel than your average run of the mill chain and having stayed in one of those last week, this somehow felt a little nicer. When travelling during a pandemic, those long chain-hotel corridors can be a bit creepy and staying at this cosy, warm, smaller hotel was a lovely change - even if I never saw a soul the whole 3 days.

Good location, very clean, no-contact accommodation during pandemic

After I made a false booking with AirBnb, I arrived straight to the Hotel Jan van Werth. Although they ran out of double rooms for couples, a reception lady offered two single rooms direcly under the roof. 

The room itself was clean, with all needed amenities, though very small, 1,5 X 1,5 m max, felt more like a closet. No shower or toilet, though guests one floor down had it in possesion for the same price. 

I also had troubles to fall asleep due to poor sound insulation. I could clearly hear a telly one floor down, not to mention voices of two guys who came back later in the night. 

A delicious breakfast with a wide selection of meals - even a home-made cheesecake! -  became a fair compensation for a broken night.

This hotels super-friendly and sparkling clean, and in a brilliant location. Jan Van Werth hotel ticked all our boxes. Family feel and a delicious breakfast.  Highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit koblenz. Also our room was quiet and we didn’t need our earplugs!

Perfect in every way

The staff was very friendly and service minded. Calm hotel, the only noise in the room was from the bathroom.  Located close to as well the city center as the railway station. With walking distance to all the tourists attractions. I warmly recommend this hotel. 

Nice and friendly hotel 

Good clean well managed hotel - excellent breakfast with wide choice buffetr style.  Close to railway station [250m] close to centre [300m]  -  side street location - no noise except for the biords in the trees !!

Good hotel

We spent two nights here while cycling along the Rhine cycle way. The room was spotless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, with a great array of fruit, cereal, meat, cheese and salad. There is a coffee and tea making station on the landing. We had an en suite bathroom - small but adequate and very clean, but some of the rooms have shared bathrooms. There is storage in the basement for bicycles. An added bonus is an excellent launderette about 150 metres away.

Quiet location but close enough to walk to tourist locations. Rooms fresh and clean, ensuite spotless. Breakfast in comfortable chairs, in delicate and pretty dinning room. Delicious German style breakfast.

Close to station and shopping area

This hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the center and to the rhine so location is very good

Room was comfortable, bathroom was small and looked like they were newly renovated, were a little strange as the walls were plastic. But we liked it.

The room was ok, bed was a bit too soft for my liking, good sized TV

Breakfast was very good. Lots of different cheeses and hams. Good coffee, orange juice ect.. Only complaint was the rolls were dry but the bread was good.

Also there was coffee and tea that you could help yourself too at any other time

In the cellar was a secure place to store bicycles

Close to the center

Very nice and welcoming staff. The hotel is mainly newly renovated and nicely decorated with pictures of local sights. I stayed in a cheap and tiny room under the roof, about 5 square meters in size and 2 meters high. The hotel is situated in a calm street, partly surrounded by dreadful office buildings, and only a short walk away from downtown. The very downside of the hotel is the owner. She becomes easily rude and even disrespectful. The reply to Joshua W below may serve as evidence of the general spirit of the owner couple.

Nice hotel but rude owner

Was a lengthy walk to German corner and cable cars to castle.  Lots of stairs, did not see an elevator. 

Close to train station, very friendly, helpful staff.  Room was small, but clean and comfy.  Breakfast was great with lots of choices.
