We were at Lake Constance for the first time and explored the area on our bikes. We found the starting point great. Langenargen is only 5 minutes away by MTB (without E!!!) and is a nice place right by the lake, from which you have a good starting point. The boarding house is run by the loving and helpful Mrs. Lott, who has always given us great tips for the area. The breakfast was rich and fresh and the rooms were clean. We are happy to come back!

Great, quiet location!

We stayed in the village for 4 days for the extended weekend and it was our first stay at the lake of Constance after many years. We were very warmly received on arrival and our questions about the environment and leisure opportunities were answered by the hostess with great recommendations. She had promptly reserved us a table at the chosen restaurant and arranged rental rides. The lodgings of the guesthouse are above the Longenargen, and we had a car-free walking and cycling route that leads to the city by way of the Longenargen. Those who like to jog or walk along the Longenargen or walk through the Longenargen apples were very well advised.

Great carefully managed boarding house in a quiet location

I was at dinner with my friend, and the pork steak with the sauce and the beans was delicious.

The food is excellent!

For the first time at Lake Constance, we wanted to see a lot, on the one hand, and on the other hand, to rest in the evening away from the hustle and bustle with good food. For this, the village courtyard is the ideal address. The rooms and bathroom are large and clean (we had a suite - that was a big apartment), breakfast is delicious (especially the sausage with salmon and quark with fruit) and in addition there are also excursion tips and maps from Mrs. Olivan, who takes care of her guests. If you come back very tired in the evening, you can enjoy the excellent cuisine of Mr. Olivan. Our sons agreed to eat at all the upper hotels. However, if you can also go out at night or have a leisure getaway, or just a 3 km drive to the lake, then it is still important to get away from the lake.

Ideal location for sea trips

We spent a very pleasant stay in the village courtyard, an exceptionally good kitchen, a little Swabian and French combined, very friendly staff, rooms very spacious and clean. We can only recommend the village courtyard, we spent really relaxing days there.

Beautiful guesthouse with hotel, quiet, relaxing

We were in the village bowl on New Year's Day! We were very friendly and warmly received! This went on until we left! Very very nice operators! We will definitely come back! The food in this house was excellent! There really was nothing to eat! I can really recommend the village bowl to everyone!

It's a beautiful day.

We were at Lake Constance for the first time and had been looking for a quiet accommodation in advance and were not disappointed. The booked suite under the roof offers plenty of space and a great view. The dark wooden furniture is a bit of a habit, allowing beds for a relaxed sleep. The bicycles we brought could be parked in a nearby shed. The breakfast offer at the restaurant was affordable, but completely sufficient. We tasted it and we started the day well. We also liked the food offer at the restaurant very well. The food was great and the service was good. The guests are very communicative and always good. It's very entertaining. It's very fun to stay awake. Weeks there. We don't have to leave a bell there at 6:00 a. Then we have to start the day with a super bell, and at 7:00 a. Then we have to start the day with a super bell.

A relaxed and relaxed holiday

During our summer vacation in Langenargen this year, we regularly visited Oberdorf at the Dorfkrug hostel. We felt very comfortable due to the very friendly reception and service. We enjoyed the food very much. From regional cuisine to French cuisine, there was something for every taste. This hostel is highly recommended.

A friendly atmosphere

The large romm with a prfect bathroom and shower will please everyone. The friendliness of the hosts is as we like it. The kitchen is full of varietys with lovely meals. We always look forward to have at the Dorfkrug a special Dinner. Every year we make a trip to this lovely place with our bike and take a brake at Langenargen because it is just the best.

They spoiled us again with their hopitality

It took me a while to confirm that Gasthof Dorfkrug was the place where we stayed for one night last week as part of our cycle tour of Lake Constance, mainly because I didn't recognise the Gasthof from the professional photos. The address is given as Langenargen, but our cycle tour co-ordinators specify that the location is Tunau-Kressbonn (important to know if you're cycling). The Gasthof provides services for holiday-makers staying on the campsite as well as those staying in the guest rooms. 
The reception area is not well sign-posted and we had to wait a while for someone to come and greet us. We made our way up to our room. It was basic, but very clean and comfortable, and reasonably spacious for three people sharing. There was a blind built into the Velux window above where my son slept, but my husband and I had to put our towels over the window near our bed to keep the light out. 
The bathroom was a good size and also very clean. 
The next morning had breakfast on the covered terrace, which was open at one end and therefore gave unlimited access to sparrows determined to share our breakfast (I saw one sparrow try to peck away a piece of butter from the plate of a man seated at the next table). The breakfast selection was limited but okay.
