We were recently there for dinner on Saturday with 6 people. Everyone found something quickly. There are also vegetarian and vegan pre- and main meals. We had a very nice and delicious evening there. The service was attentive, friendly and fast. In the summer we will be happy to come back and try the terrace again. P.S.: At any rate, order a snack!

You've been to a great restaurant.

We stayed for two nights in October.The room was large enough, clean,beds comfortable, quiet, towards the garden. Breakfast was very good.Everything was appetizing as a buffet, it didn't taste like garbage, it was naughty and high-quality.On wish mirror,coffee specialty...sauna was turned on for us.The swimming pool was a little too cool for me,my husband thought it was okay.The dinner menu was put together for us as part of the action, 'The volcano cooks'.Very tasty.We'll definitely be back.Coronary rules were implemented.

Small and fine 😊

Cheap country hotel on Vogelsberg, lovingly maintained facility, very attentive and friendly staff. Light bikers and a good but extensive wine selection. Delicious food, fresh bread... fits! Absolutely quiet location, rooms with balcony, price ratio also fits. Very happy to be back!

In the middle of Germany - In the middle of Hesse - In the middle of the green

When I saw our room, I was totally disappointed. It had no resemblance to the photos on the website. There was no parquet, but very dirty carpeting. The curtains were dirty. The corners were spider webs. I don't understand why you get so sucked into fake/filtered photos. I feel cheated and wouldn't recommend the hotel for that reason. The good things were the very friendly staff and the breakfast... so one point more than a lack.

Why these fake photos?

This hotel is located Just over an hours drive north of Frankfurt. We found the staff to be very pleasant, and the restaurant has good food. Lots of areas to walk around in the immediate vicinity. The town of Laubach is about a 20 minute walk, and has three excellent cafés for kuchen und cafe !

Comfortable country hotel 

A very nice hotel in a rural setting, close to many walking trails. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and efficient. I attended a teaching program so we took over the entire hotel and they were able to efficiently manage a large group. 

Great Staff

My visit was associated with the Diverbo Englischhausen program that teaches English to Germans.  This was a perfect place to be in a small town with an interesting history.  We had 35 in our group and the staff was attentive and friendly.  The rooms were great with space enough to also relax.  The surrounding grounds with the lovely gardens added a burst of color to the stone and timber architecture.  The trails in the woods were nice as we walked them everyday!  The main town is only a 20 minute walk away and provides a lovely view of a castle still owned by the original family since the 1200’s.  Lovely place! 

A Wonderful Visit

We came here because of a meeting, good service and delicious food, the outdoor area is beautiful and invites us to stay, breakfast was very delicious and lots of regional products.

It's a very nice location.

I was so impressed with the dedicated service from the staff to respectfully accommodate my very challenging dietary needs. They also created a friendly and warm environment. Rooms are quaint but comfortable and clean. Plenty of beautiful walking paths through the forest all around, and just a short walk to an interesting medieval town.

Exceptional attention to detail.

My wife and I stayed here as volunteers being part of a 5 day English teaching program.  
It is an intimate family run hotel with comfortable rooms which quiet and located on 3 levels.  Lighting somewhat dim in rooms however.  Service is great as is the food.  WiFi temperamental and easily overloaded. Good walking trails nearby.   Good locations for groups.  Decoration is traditional
