Pretty setting, lovely gardens and terrific hosts make this a special place. The owners certainly have paid attention to detail and offer guests a very nice experience. An honor bar, very adequate rooms and a superb breakfast add to the value of this B and B. It is also close to Bamburg.

Classic B and B

This is a beautifully maintained bed and breakfast establishment a few kilometres from Bamberg, Germany. We were unable to find reasonably priced Saturday night accommodation in Bamberg, so we opted for an out of town location. On arrival, our landlady who could not speak a word of English made us feel very welcome and was soon plying us with afternoon tea. A sitting area had a bar fridge stocked with cheap but good quality beer and wine, so a happy hour was readily available. The rooms were quite large and absolutely spotless. Breakfast was the highlight of the stay. The assortment and range provided for the two couples was quite incredible. Not only was it was great value, it was probably the best short stay we had on our recent trip to Germany. Highly recommended for anyone happy to stay in a more rural location with their own transport. As a bonus, their was also a great pub/restaurant at the end of the street!

Surprise packet!

We booked this B&B for our trip along Burgenstrasse. 
We toured Barmberg and drove to the B&B.
First of all, the house is not large but it sits on a well trimmed, lovely and pretty large garden.
When we arrived in the evening, our host kindly kept the door open and all the lights were on in the garden.
We got the Peter's room with balcony (the rooms have names :))
Our room was pretty spacious and so was the balcony. Bathroom was also quite large. 
I loved the comfy bed.

Breakfast was also flawless. Generous serving of cold cuts and cheese, tasty bread.
Great coffee, OJ, yogut, cereal. And boiled eggs were sitting in their cups with small knitted hats. How cute.
If you want American (or English) style full breakfast, this may not sound very attractive, but they served variety of ham, wurst and cheese along with good bread (i loved the one topped with pumpkin seed) I ended up eating too much.

For me Wifi worked fine. 
One drawback is that there's not much free space in the room.
The room itself was not tiny, but it was a bit crowded with furnitures.

There's a chubby black & white kitty in the house.
I tried to befriend her when I saw her next morning: I extended my index finger at her (normal reaction of a cat would be sniffing the finger tip) and she scratched my hand and ran away. :( 

Anyway my friend and I loved the house and the owners, we stayed there for another day. 
When you visit Bamberg, don't miss out Seehof schloss and Altenburg.
Seehof is pretty close ot Landhaus Hubertus.

We loved the place so much that we extended our stay

Very friendly owners, stylish and spacious room with balcony. Village surroundings in silent place. Way to Bamberg is 10-15 minutes by car.
