We got a room at this hotel by luck. It is a very cozy hotel not far away from the Autobahn. We got a suite in the new building they have, but the breakfast and dinner were at the old part of the hotel. A very nice and clean hotel with free wifi and parking.
The restaurant in the evening was fully booked, but we got a seating outside and enjoyed a nice dinner in the heat. The outside of the restaurant is mostly in the shadow of the buildings, but this was indeed good this hot evening.

Nice small hotel

In the middle of a small dozy town we found this lovely hotel, refurbished, old and new buildings. Large beer garten, easy parking. Very expedite staff. We got a room on the top floor of the new bulding, hardly used, appeared brand new. 
We had dinner at the hotel two days in a row, their food selection and quality of food and wines will please most of us. We relaxed and enjoyed or stay, we had a quick drive to Giessen for more attractions. Driving took us about 10 minutes. In the area there are several trekking routes and nice castles to visit. 



Very nice hotel

We were in despair of fining a good restaurant in Lollar until we found Gasthaus Hotel Muehlenhof.

Not easy to find in the back streets of Lollar, the hotel and restaurant  is an absolute beacon of good German food and hospitality. 

The prices are very reasonable, the decor is bright and spotlesss, everything is a positive.
