Lovely spacious room in this interesting hotel with a nice comfortable old-fashioned feel. Tea making facilities in the room, friendly host, and excellent reasonably priced Greek restaurant next door. Comfortable beds, and a complete range of delicious items for breakfast, of the highest quality. Owners are vintage Vespa enthusiasts, 6 are on display off the entrance hall. Charming dolls house miniatures shop on side of hotel faces the car park at the side. If ever in Lübeck again, we'll be back.

This small hotel is a very good value for the price. Host, Mr Hoffman and his charming assistant, speak a perfect English and are extremely helpful and nice. Yes, the place is a somewhat old-fashioned in a nice way though. Breakfast generous and very good. There is a complimentary bottle of local mineral water in the room and there is a small selection of beer and wine to chose from at a reasonnable price.  It is located not far from the center of Lubeck and if you wish the bus is just around the corner. I would definitely recommend that hotel to friends.

good value hotel

I stayed there for the weekend with friends. The staff was very helpfull. Each room had an washbasin. Toilet and shower were to share with other hotelguests. The connection with Wifi was ok. The breakfast was very good for such a cheap hotel. Fresh German  bread, salads, eggs and yoghurt were available. Price-value was good. In ten minutes, by car, you are at the centre of the old town of Lubeck. You can park for free just outside the centre. There are many things to see! the Buddenbrookhause, Gunther Grass museum, galleries,shops, lots of Lutherian Churches. Must see is the view of the St. Petri church on Lübeck and dinner at the Schiffergesellschaft for an traditional German meal. And near Lübeck is Travemünde, an old seaside resort. Also very beautifull and nice to visit if you like ships and sea.
