Very well maintained address with friendly reception and service, large room, all clean and functional, convenient to Elberadweg, large courtyard with infrastructure in the garden for the guests, rich and varied breakfast.

Recommended without restriction

The Elbhof Harnisch is located on the edge of Bleckede. Both the Elbauen and the river and the place Bleckede with various restaurants and shops can be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes. We had rented the holiday apartment, which is very well and comfortably equipped. 2 TVs, WLAN, microwave, washing machine etc. and there is a small terrace outside the door. Also the large garden with seating can be used.

Great accommodation with a gigantic good breakfast.

I stayed in the elbhof after a cold and rainy march day cycling from Hamburg along the elberadweg. I was greeted with warm tea in their comfortable couch in the dining area and i could watch the bad weather i had been cycling in continue outside. The room was nice with a spacious hot shower and soft bed. The next morning i had a amazing breakfast waiting for me downstairs. I highly reccomend to stay here!

Cycling the Elberadweg

On our tour of the Elberadweg we spent one night here. We were so warmly received that we immediately forgot about the hardships of the day (wind and light fright). Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy and very clean. We slept wonderfully! In the morning we were surprised with a great breakfast, there was really nothing missing. Rested, strengthened and with the sun in the sky, we set off for another holiday.

We had been looking forward to traveling and staying in this pension, but unfortunately we had to cancel 21 days earlier for serious health reasons. Today I was able to cancel all hotels and bicycle loans and nowhere were cancellation fees charged. In this pension there are 52 euro cancellation fees charged. This was not mentioned in the email traffic or in the telephone booking. An email on this subject was not taken into account by the owner.

We arrived relatively late on a Tuesday evening and were immediately very warmly welcomed. The house has already made a very good impression from the outside. The rooms are absolutely lovingly decorated, you feel comfortable immediately. Cleanliness, comfort and ambience are absolutely worth 5*! The next morning's breakfast was so warmly prepared that you can hardly get it anywhere else. You notice that this hotel/holiday house is run with infinite love and heart blood. If I were in the area again, I would stay here again right away!

We have stayed in hundreds of hotels big and small over the last few years. This is a very good experience. The positives:  friendly and accommodating owner(lady), clean property and room, good room lighting, great water pressure in sink and shower, good breakfast though not a buffet, bicycle friendly with secure bicycle storage, walking distance to town(about 1 mile), nice little patio out back for the guests. The negatives:  1 mile from town and very few restaurants are open on a regular basis, very busy road next to hotel and the traffic almost never stops (even at 3 in the morning) sometimes sounding like they're coming through your room, room is very warm since there is no air conditioning and no room fan (not sure why these places don't have ceiling fans at the least and if they have room fans why they don't automatically put one in the room(they only cost about $10), the pillow has no substance-you're basically sleeping on a pillow case, the smoking area is at the front of the hotel and it is impossible to get away from the smell as it even comes into your open window(when we were there there was an older man who appeared to be attempting to set a world record for how much of his day he spent smoking cigarettes-pretty disgusting😜. Bottom line-a nice place to stay but not without its faults. 

Good Hotel

I don't have the words. It's just great. A lovingly prepared breakfast. A caring hostess. Great rooms. If a room is too noisy, you can find out about the situation on the Internet. At night there's almost no traffic, so you can sleep with the windows open. A small, comfortable boarding house. Just keep going.

Assessment

Visiting for one night I was arriving at 10 o'clock in the evening. I was not greeted with a smile. The grumpy owner only spoke for the basic information and showed me to my room. The room was large, the bed soft and the shower warm. All good. The room I had was in the front of the house so passing traffic produced noise and lights so it was impossible to sleep with the windows open.
Breakfast was very nice but basic and the grumpy owner only showed herself to ask if I wanted eggs. She did not check once during breakfast if we needed something else. All in all I think it is nice for who prefers rustic experience 

Good but unfriendly 

Everything was great here, from the guest room to the wheelchair space to the very cozy breakfast room. Especially the breakfast with the many different types of homemade bread remained in memory. Elbhof is a few minutes' drive from the town centre, but that is no problem.
