Arrived early afternoon, saw a message to return by 18h. Thought my decision to be at Sonne was wrong. Outside of house seemed old. Return at time and was received by Herr Braun. Too kind and welcome sir. Rooms are big, all 6. Shower is fantastic. Decoration some old and kitsch but ok. Clean room. Simple, comfortable. Nice restaurant, fair food, excelente prices, nice beer garden, additional big living area for social events.

Surprised

This hotel is in a somewhat secluded location, where there is virtually nothing to see around. The rooms are spacious for two people. The wifi works very well. There is a bit of noise, because it is right next to a road, but it has blinds - which is rare in Germany - so we can say that it is fine. We have to carry the suitcases up the stairs, there is no elevator. The owner was very friendly. We attended in German without a word in English, but we could not understand each other. Basic breakfast. You can park without any problem.

The wifi worked very well.

We had to stay here because all the other hotels and guesthouses in the nearby Schwabisch Hall were booked out. If you're into the thoughtful charm of the '80s, then you'll be staying right here. The whole house smells like a mix of kitchen and dressing room. The bright-eyed rooms were clean, but above all the bathroom hasn't been renovated since 1985 and dark. Also, there are stains on the ceiling in the hallway. The windows shouldn't be opened for two reasons: the stall smell from the neighborhood and the eternal noise of the best, only 20 meters away, was loud.

For car and truck lovers

On the evening after the assembly day, I stood in front of a locked door. After several knocks, no one heard. I picked out the number of the guesthouse, but because of the lack of mobile phone coverage, it was also a small problem. After about 10 minutes, I had a phone call, then the host came in and asked me in. The room was so far ok, the phone connection was bad, W-lan wasn't much better. The room was very bright, food was not possible because of the holidays. (It should have been noted at the booking, too) Simple breakfast. No fruit, yogurt, etc. Wool, cheese, bread, 1 day bread. The host smelled nice, the word cart. His remarks about the content of the morning newspaper were not going to deceive me any more.

Affordable accommodation

Landgasthof Sonne is a hotel & restaurant located next to the church in Bubenorbis village. In summer you can dine or have a beer at the terrace.

We stayed at a nearby B&B and came for dinner on a week-day. The terrace was busy, a good sign. The menu offers traditional German dishes: good quantities of tasty food. Decoration and table decoration give the restaurant a classical German ambiance. Staffs are friendly and service is adequate. Parking next door.

We recommend restaurant Landgasthof Sonne to anyone who seeks good food at an acceptable price.

Tasty food at an acceptable price

The rooms were spacious and clean, the service was friendly in the evening, the boss was a little grumpy in the morning, but what's not working is that we were charged by a company credit card when we booked, and then we had to pay ourselves on the spot. Charges were not charged. Unfortunately, that's the reason we won't be coming back.

Criticism

We stopped in here to meet up with family for dinner.  We did not use the hotel.  They have great food here with some surprising options.  For being in such a small town, they have some great dishes on the menu.  You can get anything from the traditional Schnitzel to wild game dishes.

The sides are all served family style, and the salads are an adventure in themselves.

Come hungry and stay all night if you wish....
