Good value for money. Not too fancy and a little outdated, but everything is there, and it's clean. Location on a industrial zone, about 10 minutes to the city center by cab. Breakfast is perfect for this money.

Great value for money!

Typical 2 star hotel; clean, basic, functional.  Does what it says on the tin. However, the attitude of Andrea, the owner emlevates the place to 5 stars.  She was extremely helpful and knowledgable, telling us about local restaurants and then ordering pizzas for us when we decided not to go out, which were delivered to our room. The breakfast was delicious.

The guest house at the Riedweg is in a commercial area and seems to be a little lost there. At least there is plenty of parking. After a friendly reception, check-in was easy. The room was equipped with a wide bed, but it was inhabited. The bathroom had to be upgraded, but everything was clean. The breakfast is plenty, the coffee is good. For passing by, OK. There is no restaurant in the house but at a distance of about 200m there is a good guesthouse (dining) for there is also a 10% discount in the guest house.

The guest house is equipped according to the price. Everything is clean and tidy. In the entrance area there was even a self-service hot tub with coffee, cups, milk and sugar. Also a lot of information about Mannheim and the surroundings. The single room with Franz. The bed was quite large and tidy, in the room even a refrigerator, a small TV and a couch. The bathroom was absolutely clean and breakfast was also ok. Everything you wanted to eat for breakfast was so: fresh bread, bread, jam, yogurt, yogurt, sausage, sausage, 2 sauces and milk and apples, etc. It was always right after. Overall, breakfast/lease, which is in a very nice way, and I can't afford to pay for it if you want to keep it in a very clean way (and if you want to keep it in a very clean way, you can't pay for it if you want to keep it in a very clean way).

The situation in the industrial area is a matter of getting used to when two drunk people meet you on your way, but the hotel is clean, well maintained, there's everything for breakfast and enough, the mattresses are really excellent.

Recommendation for travellers

Booked via "Booking.com" as a stopover at the last moment when it was necessary to re-route on our journey home, this establishment is very basic but clean and functional.  Friendly manageress spoke far better English than my German.  Simple but plentiful buffet breakfast.

If you need an evening meal, the location is a bit isolated but there are a couple of restaurants nearby.  We tried to get in at "Heimat" but found it to be fully booked.  It did, however, look very good and the menu was interesting.  Located on a boat moored in the back of beyond through the docks, definitely looked worth a visit if you can get a table.  We ended up at the nearby (600 metres) Greek restaurant "Olympia" and this wasn't bad.

OK for a stopover

Fairly basic motel, decent value for money, plenty of parking, clean tidy and functional but fairly isolated. Not much in the way of bars or restaurants nearby, especially on a Sundays as only nearby restaurant we found was closed.

Cheap and functional, bit out of the way, quiet with ample parking

Simply put, the treatment was formidable. Very attentive to any details that would enhance our stay. Hopefully repeat soon and if anyone is questioning the elegance of this place because it is highly recommended. Nowhere is the well-being of their guests taken so seriously. The site is very well connected, spacious parking, reception is very easy even off-hours, the breakfast is great, and I'm very happy to have been there.

Desiring to repeat it.

Everything's great price, performance, breakfast is delicious, the environment is more like a simple industrial area, reminds me of some accommodation for assembly workers, rather than what kind of passage, but clean, mattresses really good, the bathroom smelled a little strange and my pillow was under the mattress stain... well, but the rest is totally fine.

Reasonably priced B&B in the outskirts of Mannheim. The lady owner is very nice and helpful. Our room was clean with basic furniture but we got what we needed, bed, shower, TV, free WiFi. Main highlight of our stay there was the breakfast. Easy access to the motorway.
