Has a wonderful view of the town, Mittenwald. It is on a hill on the edge of the town, where it is quite and peaceful. Our room was spacious with a kitchen, a stove, small refrigerator, and dishwasher. Dishes and pots and pans also. Also, a nice size balcony with chairs and tables. Could have been better lighting. Nice size bathroom, but shower and tub could have been a little bigger. I’m 6’, 185. The two ladies running the Gaestehaus didn’t speak much English, but we managed alright. There was also a pool, but we never used it. 

GREAT VIEW

This hotel is located at the far end from mittenwald. Parking area is limited. There is no front reception service during evenings & night. The staff is extremely rude providing no flexibility to families with young child. The breakfast is cold with 2-3 things available & stale fruits. Mittenwald is so beautiful, I would advise anyone visiting here to stay in the interiors & avoid this hotel at any cost

Beautiful small hotel with amazing views. Well equipped self catering rooms and luxury swimming pool and sauna. Bit of a steep climb up the hill from the town but worth it. Some popular walks start nearby. Amazing alpine views from the balcony, which made breakfast a delight.

Super family hotel

Geraeumige Zimmer, tolles Fruehstueck, sehr nette Wirtin. Wir mochten alles im Lärchenhang. Tolle Lage am Hang mit einem super Blick über den Karwendel, wenn gewünscht auch aus dem Liegestuhl des hauseignen Pools. Perfekt für Wanderungen ohne Auto und für alle die es lieben zu Vogelgesängen aufzuwachen. Vielen Dank Gästehaus Lärchenhang für einen tollen Urlaub! 

Spacious rooms, amazing breakfast and a wonderful host. We loved everything about Laerchenhang. The location on the mountain is perfect and allows for a beautiful view over the Karwendel Mountain, even from your deck-chair at the house-indoor-pool. Perfect starting point for various hikes and walks (without having to start the car) and a treat for everyone wanting to wake up to the singing of birds. Many thanks to the guesthouse for a stunning holiday!

Wundervolles Gaestehaus / Wonderful Guesthouse

Had a lovely stay albeit just for one night.  The staff were lovely and welcoming, The last minute room was large with a very comfortable bed, lounge , clean and fresh en-suite and a balcony with stunning views, would have loved to stay longer to just sit and enjoy the view from the balcony.  I suspect that all rooms have views as we got the last one!  The pretty breakfast room had a terrace overlooking said view and the breakfast itself was absolutely delicious.  Especially the bowl of mixed fruit and berries & healthy meusli to have with yoghurt - the best in our whole 4 week trip, plus many other delicious offerings!  It is situated a short walk from the town (5-10 mins) which is very nice. They also have a pool with a view. We would def stay here again, however our only problem was we had booked for two nights (through their booking agency) but it was not received by them.  They happily welcomed us into their last room for one night and offered to find alternate accom. elsewhere, but as there was a festival at that time we were unable to get anything in town.  I usually book directly with any accom I use, but at that time they did not have their own website up and running.  Happily they now do, just google the name.
