What a very pleasant surprise!! The property is a lovely,  historic inn surrounded by country parkland with multiple walking paths. We opted for a suite, which was very large, clean & conveniently located in a separate building with private outdoor porch. Highly recommended for a real German experience.

Very Charming Historic German Inn

Very nice location, great beer garden. The restaurant is actually overpriced for the service and quality. The rooms are still fine. No plugs near the bed, windows are noisy. In the garden at night under my window, a party with loud screams and music until 3: 00 in the morning.

Not bad, but

We stayed here on a short trip and were disappointed in everything. The reality does not agree with the pictures you find on booking pages. The main house is currently being renovated, whether you can even stay there at the moment, we have not been clear. We were staying across the street in the building of the restaurant. Our room was in no good condition: the curtain was torn, the balcony didn't close properly, mold on the fish of the bathtub to name a few. The positive thing is: we ate well in the evening, with a reasonable price/taste ratio. The staff was friendly. But also here according to the disadvantages: we were in the restaurant early morning and checked in to an incredibly unstable atmosphere. We didn't even get to the next person's restaurant again. We didn't get to the impression that the next person would be unstable.

Not just coming of age

We visit the Restaurant many times, my Daughter got married there 2 years ago.
We sat in the Beer garden, the food was absolutely stunning but most of all the service..the waiter with name Driss was such an amazing young man, he had a memory you can dream of he can keep 15 peoples order without writing it down..wow!! His service was very memorable for us, thank you very much this is rare..can highly recommend this place. We will be back for sure.

Fantastic Restaurant very special food!!

My feelings about this hotel are very mixed. On the one hand side, it is beautifully located at the edge of the forest and its overall design is very nice, the price is modest. On the other hand side, the hotel desperately needs some maintenance for some time already. Most obvious is the severely and ugly damaged lock in the glass door in the inner part of the hotel entrance. I complaint about this already two years ago, and nothing has happened. I won´t come again until this has been fixed.

I had a business meeting with 13 people and both the dinner + service was excellent. Also the breakfast and lunch was top. the rooms in the main house have gotten a little old, no mobile network D1, the hotel's wire was a little overloaded

Very good food

We celebrated our wedding with 85 guests on a beautiful summer evening in the hunting lodge. Everything went well: the decoration of the hall and the furnishing of the courtyard, the reception on the lawn, the Mediterranean buffet with grill, the bar, the dance, and a long evening with many good conversations. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the hotel management helped us a lot and provided excellent support in the planning and execution of the party. Many guests - including us - stayed at the hotel and enjoyed a deliciously rich breakfast buffet. All guests were gone and gone, and we received many compliments from them for the good rental of the food, which we would like to give to the staff here and to the hotel.

A dream wedding in a hunting lodge

I arrived a little later that evening, which I told you by phone. The key is then in the restaurant. You can park for free in front of the door, it's also very easy to find on the main street. The gentleman at the restaurant knew immediately, and accompanied me to my room. That was really good, too, because the room was facing a huge old but very beautifully made mansion, or just a hunting lodge. My room was in one of the buildings on the first floor. Very well maintained staircase, beautiful very clean rooms. Absolutely quiet and relaxing.

Super ambience, beautifully maintained rooms

A very extensive location. The beer garden is not my case, but the restaurant is not only beautiful, but also offers high-quality food at a very reasonable price. Beautiful summer garden! However, the staff (only 3 people) seemed to have a little too much demand for the many guests. Nevertheless:

Good work

Nice hotel on the road between Gross Gerau and Morfelden. Parking in the front and at the back. Room 26 nice and cool with decent shower and toilet. Breakfast is German (complet) Wifi not the best. Restaurant is good, we loved the beergarten!
