The Pension an der Marienkirche has large, tastefully appointed rooms with new baths (at least in the two rear houses with windows on a back street - quiet!) and a wonderful breakfast with many choices. The staff was extremely helpful and, as we arrived after 6 pm, waiteed for us in the main office to give us the keys and explain about the location of the breakfast room.

Excellent location in the middle of the old town

Just one night in this very clean place. Nothing special but absolutely min covered: very clean, big bed, parking and close to city center. Small issue with English but all has been finally managed, we had a good price 60euro. Interesting town center. Simple breakfast but good enough 

Perfect place to stay one night 

Very nice, spaceous and clean room with a working free Wifi. On the other hand, the view of houses that are at the brink of collapse was disappointing. It was very warm and there was no A/C but we survived.
The hotel is very nicely located, right in the town centre. The town is not too big, everything is at walking distance. The Divi Blasii church where young JS Bach played the organ from 1707 to 1708 is closeby. The hotel is located in a pedestrian area, so the night was very quiet. Proprietary parking is free, just around the corner. Breakfast is copious and excellent. The accomodation is not cheap (71 euro), but worth the money.

Excellent stay down town in friendly hotel

Small but very clean rooms. There are no extras such as hot water or coffee during the day, no microwave, no refrigerator available. Check in times are a narrow window but they accommodate later arrivals. Great central location for walking and shopping.

A good central location

We knew when we booked this B&B that it was in the middle of town, but what we didn't realise, and what we were not told, was that it is inside the pedestrian zone which is closed off by bollards. Additionally, roadworks were not notified to us before arrival and this made it more complicated in finding our way. We eventually parked the car outside the centre and walked to the B&B to get instructions as to how we could find a way in. Unfortunately the girl on reception did not speak English and it was another guest who helped translate her instructions. Even then it took us an hour to find a way around the complicated one way traffic system to the point where we then had to then ring the girl on reception to come out of the B&B to lower one of the electric bollards to let us into the pedestrian zone! A load of fuss we could have done without after having driven hundreds of miles on a hot day. The B&B itself was fine, clean and comfortable but run on a business basis with no person on site after 6.00pm like a B&B in most other parts of the world. Breakfast was in a large room at the back of the establishment in another block. The temperature was over 30 deg when we stayed there and rooms did not have air-con or fans. We did get our cars parked in the courtyard off road but as there were only about 12 spaces you do need to book in advance. Doubtful if we would go through this hassle to stay here again.
