If you’re looking for a small family-run hotel in the heart of the city this will be absolutely perfect for you. I’ve stayed here 3-4 times while teaching at the University, and it’s been excellent. I especially highlight the staff, who are well-trained, helpful and courteous. On my final day the receptionist was very flexible and helpful with my awkward checkout, and pointed me to some evening options for food and drink.

On the downside there are few dairy or gluten-free alternatives in the breakfast, but to be fair I didn’t ask in advance having only recently changed my diet. 

So I’ll be back!

Very special

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the main market and the cathedral. The rooms and bathroom were clean. There was also a terrace. From there you could see the St. Lambert Church. Breakfast was also delicious and sufficient. There is no elevator. I had a pleasant stay and will come back.

Hotel in perfect condition

Located in the middle of the old town, the hotel welcomed us very positively with its friendly, family atmosphere. Despite the Corona conditions, the stay was pleasant. As a family of five we were all accommodated in one hallway. Breakfast has everything to start the day well. We placed our bikes at the nearby bike station.

Small and fine, in the middle of the city

Unfortunately, when you have a baby things get complicated quickly: the absence of an elevator is certainly a dark spot but it's mostly a lot of noise from the outside: until very late at night and from 7:30 in the morning that prevented us from sleeping. Even with closed windows! No mini bar or trunk.

Very central location attention to noise

We wanted to stay there more than once, this time we did. Two nights in the middle of Münster. I didn't hear bells from the cathedral or other traffic, my wife did. Very nice reception. A simple room with little storage. A comfortable bed. Very clean and a good breakfast with an attentive employee. I would always book.

A small safe family hotel

Great antiques in the staircase of the hotel, room layout rather simple, dark corner for the table without lamp, so work is not possible there. The bathroom is absolutely unacceptable! At the top of the head almost 40 cm wide space, since the bathroom is completely built into the ceilings. There is a mini-washing basin with a diameter of about 30 cm, no storage space. In the corner on a low base right next to the toilet, there is the box with cosmetics washers... The towel holder doesn't really look in the wall anymore and the garbage can doesn't look very clean... 1 employee looks nice, 1 employee doesn't have a very nice room at breakfast, and a room for me has been organized, and 3 other staff members said that I didn't want to take it seriously, and that I didn't want to change the room.

Room 13 with bathroom in the ceiling - unacceptable

A small and family-friendly hotel in the middle of the old town of Münster. I spent two nights there and was very satisfied. The staff were customer- and service-oriented as well as very friendly. The room was decent and clean. The (shower) bathroom was up to date. A refrigerator with drinks is in the hallway and replaces the minibar in the room. This is paid for on a trust basis by depositing coins in a shell. The only hooks at the hotel: a steep staircase, reception on the first floor, rooms still above, staircase and no elevator. For me, it suited with a small gack. My room was narrow straight from the third floor to the top of the Kievan Imkerl. Surely connected with a little noise.

In the Old Town

This is our first time here, and the hotel is not a travel experience, but the location makes a difference, and it's very well located for an exploration of Münster, and the operators are very kind and hospitable, but not particularly shiny.

Effort and as far as possible good

I am now regularly at the Hotel Busche on my business trips to Münster. Super location, small but very neat and clean rooms, free W-Lan: absolutely everything is available for a short stay. A decent breakfast and very friendly staff. For me particularly positive: the refrigerator in the staircase with drinks. No mini-bottles at overpriced prices, but normal sizes for fair money. And the trust in the guest that the money will be put into the already existing shell. The criticism regarding volume I cannot understand: The hotel is in the middle of the old town, right next to the Kiefenkerl. But when you open the window there, you never hear any noise from the area of the Göl and the people outside. So there is no indication that the money will be put into the already existing shell. Very good city hotel

Because of the noise of cars, bus stops and especially of roaring passers-by, no windows to be opened until early in the morning! No air conditioning. The air in the small rooms will be scarce. For the price there is better in Münster.
