What makes this hotel a great place to stay is the low cost of the rooms. Compared to most of the other hotels located in the city center, this hotel is easily accessible by the subway/metro service. Kubisova may be a quiet area in the suburbs of Prague but if you're looking to travel on a budget, you can't go wrong with Aida. 

The area is particularly quiet at night though this was winter when I stayed here. The staff receptionist speaks little English but is enough to get you the information you need, where to find your room, where and when the breakfast begins, etc. 

The rooms may seem particularly small but let's face it, if you're staying here, you're not looking for luxury. I am pleased to say the room itself is very clean with the usual amenities provided. 

Very happy that I chose this place to stay.

A great place to stay on a short trip to Prague

We booked six rooms for some of our wedding guests. They all were very satisfied with their rooms. The staff is very friendly and helped us to prevent our guests from paying theirselves which was not an easy job to do. Moreover we were told that the breakfast was just perfect. To put in a nutshell we would book there anytime again.

Top Service, Good Breakfast

We truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aida. It was quiet and easy enough to get to. I took the S1 from the airport and switched to the S2 in Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), but could have switched at Laim as well. When we went into the city, I just had a short walk back to the S Bahn. Schloss Nymphenburg was also a nice walk from the hotel. I felt very safe in the area walking around. There is a nice little Beer garden, Zum Grünen Baum, within a short distance. The breakfast at the hotel was quite nice and reasonably priced including a variety of breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, yogurt, and fruit along with coffee and juice. A major plus was the free wifi that worked quite well for us. Also, the hotel was very clean even though the rooms were small. The staff was friendly. It was perfect for our stay.

Nice Little Hotel

Nothing was terribly wrong with this hotel; it just felt very "meh." It faced a very large, busy street, so it wasn't as picturesque as it looked online. We were told we would have "park views," and instead we faced the entrance to the very small parking garage. And, of course (as with all our other Germany parking garage experiences), the garage door didn't open like it was supposed to and we had to get help from the front desk. Also, it was the only hotel we stayed in where I had to ask the front desk for a hairdryer. After staying in 9 hotels for our trip, this one was my least favorite.

On the positive side, the hotel was in a perfect location. It sits right behind the enormous Nymphenburg Palace park, which is open to the public and is beautiful to stroll through. It's also only a 3-minute walk to a subway stop that takes you directly to the center of downtown, so that was convenient. They also have a small though beautiful patio to sit on out back, and their breakfast was very good for 6.50 EUR.

Not quiet what I expected

This hotel was out of town but close to an s-bahn station. The room we were given was a bit tired and the bathroom could really have done with being refurbished. I'd give it three stars if it hadn't have been so expensive to stay there during oktoberfest
