Hotel München City Center affiliated by Meliá 

A very centrally located hotel near the hapbahnof central station, it was an easy walk most places. Rooms were decent and ac much welcomed during the heat wave we were visiting during. The staff were pleasant and mostly helpful and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and full of variety for all sorts of appetites. Unfortunately, the large influx of bus tours for check-in or breakfasts made for more difficult enjoyment at times. Some breakfast we ended out in garden area, but faught to get through crowds of not wonderfully considerate others to try and get breakfast while dining under onslaught of wasps and cigarette smoke of inconsiderate smokers. Those smokers also would stay right at the hotel entrance often so you would exit or enter through horrific cigarette smoke which for an asthmatic is particularly troublesome, and my entire family has lung issues. We did not appreciate that part of our stay, nor the seeming back of naturalle cold water bring available for purchase in lobby as they only had extra still which is NOT the same. We also regret staff fid not inform us of incentives for registering to NOT have maid service for our stay, which we opt out of often, and then said they would not institute it after stay had begun when we saw the ads on our floor. Disappointed in that piece as far as staff consistency of message and follow through on what they advertise they offer, but don't advertise at check in where it has to happen. Overall good place to stay. Decent accommodations, friendly overall staff. Busy times make elevators almost impossible to use, and breakfast a chaotic free for all depending on guests behavior.
