The hotel is located near the central railway station. This is convenient for a fast and direct connection to the airport (S1 or S8 train). Otherwise, the area around the station is predominantly populated by Turkish and Arab immigrants. However, the area is safe; I had no problems at any time of day or night. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the historic city center. The room was spacious and warm (in December it was –10°C outside!). The TV offers many German channels, plus TV5 and RAI. The bathroom is phenomenal—the shower had buttons instead of knobs! The staff are professional and empathetic. They remembered it was my birthday and surprised me with a cake and a greeting card. 🎂
