An absolute gem. Rooms are a nit dated but very clean and comfortable. Had a fridge, microwave & TV in the room sink and shower. Shared toilet but that wasn't a problem. Close to local bars restaurants etc  also close to transport linked. Oktoberfest site 10 min walk away. Definitely recommend this small hotel.

Weekend city break

Calling this a hotel is a bit of a stretch.  It is really a hostel with some private rooms.  There is no elevator in this 4 floor building. There supposedly a breakfast, but I didn’t use this.  The room I had was sufficient but worn.  The hotel was clean enough, but not sparkling.  It was quite dark and uninspired.

The location was near the U train station and only 2-3 stops from all the tourist spots on Marienplatz. There were a few bars and restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel and the neighborhood was quiet and residential and seemed quite safe.

Overall it met my needs, though I would likely go elsewhere in the future. If you just want an inexpensive place to sleep while in Munich, it is fine.

West German functionality, East German charm.

We used this affordable accommodation for a night because we were on the way. Rooms as expected were Spartan. We were assigned a four-bedroom. Unfortunately, all the mattresses were also all-roofed. The community restrooms were very clean and newly furnished. We didn't use the community bathroom and we didn't see it. On arrival there was a problem because we had booked through Hostelworld and the breakfast was supposed to be free. After I showed the reception ticket, we got it for free. The breakfast was perfectly priced, but you can't charge three. Especially well, the train station was right next door. The parking lot is located in the yard, but parking lots are also limited to 10 euros.

Short stay possible

We stayed in this boarding house only one night but it was enough to say that it is a very pleasant place. The discreet and kind staff, the modest but well equipped room and even the shared bathroom, which we had chosen, was clean and safe. The cleaning lady was always around to check that everything was going well. Good breakfast. 3 minutes' walk from the U6 (blue) subway, the boarding house is very convenient to reach the center. They allowed us to leave the suitcase even after checkout, thus giving us the opportunity to visit Munich again before departure.

Very welcoming location

Great location to make the most of the Oktoberfest. Not the most luxurious hotel, but compared to most other hotels in the area they charge not over the top. Good breakfast, with a great coffee machine. Do realise that, when going during this fest, prices are inflated over 3 times the off season rate....hope to come back next year though...

Oktoberfest

Very nice hotel I booked for one night. Very clean, quiet and good quality breakfast. Staff and available but discreet. The wifi is free and works very well.

Very well located.

No working TV. Frustration not very good. Accommodation not beautiful, old and smelly equipped. Overpriced accommodation. No further recommendation. No parking at the boarding house at the moment?

Not very good.

The essential. The room was dirty, it had the sink. Bathroom and shower in two separate places on the same ground floor. Sufficient cleaning, left a Po' to desire. Breakfast even if organized in a small space had everything, nothing to say, salty and sweet. Judgment is a Po' low because anyway the cost is not really cheap. It is at par with the cost something better. Good location, near the Oktoberfest park.

There's better. There's the risk of inadequacy.

We as a couple have found this very family-friendly boarding house in southern Munich near the metro station who goes by plane or train in a single car new and difficult to find parking not suitable for disabled people without elevator reception on the first floor rooms in the second bathroom common and there are also rooms with a shower in common while some have the shower in the room we paid 45 euros a night with breakfast small but comfortable single beds free wifi, flat screen TV and even at night you sleep very well very quiet

For kids who go to business

The reception room is cozy, but we had to ventilate it to get the smell of old things out. It's like we're in a nursing home. It's a big plus for the lovers to stay for a long time. There's a refrigerator and a teacup. The shower rooms are very pleasant. They're not in the room, but they're very well equipped and clean. The breakfast was good. Overall, we stayed satisfied. It was the cheapest room at the time of the trip. Well, the proximity to the center is pleasing.
