Best of the best.
I was there 2 time.
For the first time I spent 3 weeks here an the second time I spent 
 2 weeks.
The room was clean. The internet connection was okay.
My favorite was the breakfast it was perfect! :D

My favorite

I am writing this review at 2:42 AM in the morning, as I literally cannot sleep due to the noise coming from behind the walls or the ceiling on the third floor (room 313-316 area). During my first and second night you could hear a constant buzzing sound, but today it is just the whole new level. Its like there is some kind of an engine behind the walls that produces a very repetitive, annoying rotation sound. The reception is not working and I cannot get hold of them. Had this happened in the summer, I would have left already, but considering it is winter and I have a drive to Munich ahead of me, I am really desperately hoping on getting some rest prior to that. 
In addition, information I received from my colleagues from lower floors: the rooms are tiny, old, sometimes with a weird smell. One colleague had to change the hotel at the very first night. 
The breakfast does not make things better. The food does not look appealing.

I stayed in Neckarsulm for the first time ever and on business.  The Post Hotel is a short walk from the main station and also to the town centre.  The new owners are renovating the hotel and the restaurant is not open at present.  The room I was in was small but renovated in a Bavarian style with a large fridge and cutlery and microwave for self catering.  Beer and soft drinks were available free of charge.  Breakfast was continental but there was plenty of choice.

Excellent value hotel close to Neckarsulm main station and town centre

The hotel is from what I guess the early seventies and has not been renovated since then.
My room was smoke free but that clearly has not always been the case. It was muffy.
The restaurant serves basic food of moderate quality.
