I was able to pass through the Neresheim monastery. The expectation of accommodation in a monastery was fully met. The rooms were spartan but clean, very quiet and had a hearty ground-floor breakfast. Since I arrived very late, I got the dinner on the room. The drink was for my own take in the dining room. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Monastery of Neresheim

I was at the Heidenheim Airport for a training course and spent 8 nights at the Neresheim Convent. The location of the hotel and also the hotel is very quiet and pleasant. It is also visited by many pilgrims who follow the Way of Jacob. The breakfast is good and sufficient and also interesting, as you sit at the table every day with other people (pilgrims, hikers). The hotel has no WLAN, but according to the pilgrims, God does not need WLAN (... for me it would have been very helpful). The reception is very friendly and a complaint was very well received. I booked there on a next visit. The food was not so hanging around the restaurant; on the contrary, a visit would not be worthwhile.

Quietness and relaxation of an impressive installation

We were pretty disappointed this time. The food was more like an average canteen level, but with friendly service. Somewhere between tasteless and salty, for a price of at least 12.80€ for the calf frame is pretty steep, the swab counter for 10.20€ was also quite taste neutral and little meaningful.

More Food Than Pleasure

Interesting place. Former monastery. There is no TV in the rooms. Wi-Fi is only available in those rooms that are close to the restaurant. In the rooms there is wired internet (5 euros a day), no laptop, you can rent it (30 euros a day). The girl does not register at the check-in desk until 6 p.m. If you do not have time to register and get the keys, you will stay on the street. There is a parking lot. Near the farm. The smell and sound are appropriate. If you want to enjoy the silence and get to know yourself, this hotel is for you.

It's an interesting place.

If you're looking for something else, you'll find yourself at the Neresheim Convent Hostel at the right address. It's a wonderful place and you'll find absolute peace, free of communication and television, and a good civic kitchen. The restaurant doesn't open for long at night, but you can still have drinks after closing. There's still an absolute sense of trust. You should definitely take a look at the convent church and enjoy the view from the monastery garden to the place.

The rooms are not luxurious and the bathrooms are older. The breakfast buffet is very good. The hotel met our expectations. The service is very friendly and uncomplicated. Architecturally the whole monastery is a force to be reckoned with. The big surprise is the kitchen. Very good food for small prices. Whether the beer soup or the beef cakes, it was a really great cooking. I highly recommend! I think the wines and the beer are exceptionally good and everything else is expensive. One to this house!

Beautifully located hotel with a wonderful view

The rooms are good size with double bed and few decorations. Lots of cupboard space and nice size bathroom with shower. The rooms is in the old Kloster Building. The church is beautiful and free to visit. Out in the country. No breakfast included but can be arranged.

Very basic but good accommodation

Klosterhospiz Neresheim offers exactly what you would imagine about staying in a monastery. The imposing monastery complex is located on top of a hill in a serene landscape. Where the church of the monastery is rich and exuberant, the wing with the accommodations is plain and simple. The basic rooms are clean and have functional furnishings and a private bathroom. The slightly curved bay window overlooking the surrounding area and a subtle cross above the bed provide a touch of monastic atmosphere in the room.

For a reasonable price you can join the buffet breakfast in vaulted breakfast room. It’s a no frills healthy breakfast, with fresh rolls and slices of hearty brown bread, jams, meats and a boiled egg.

Beautiful characteristic stay at a monastery

Located directly on the Jakobsweg route on a hill overlooking the small town of Neresheim. Staff friendly, welcoming, spoke enough English, and worked very hard to help me with travel plans. Room was modern, well-equipped, and spacious as a single. Restaurant was super, both for dinner and breakfast. Would love to have stayed the weekend and attended the Daily Office.
