We stayed in this hotel 3 nights (family room). Room was quite nice and cosy but the extra bed was uncomfortable. We had ultra all inclusive but nobody restock the water which supposed to be every day 1 bottle for the room. It was clean but I think nobody washed the curtains since the hotel was opened. The food was nice but nothing special. What was suprising - no green or black tea for breakfast what I think is BASIC! (there were many kinds of fruit tea). The staff was very nice. Most of them are Czech. Wellness area is very small - only for beds next to sauna. Also the towels and bathrobes are paid:-(

Sometimes, one thing will tick you off, but in this hotel there were many. Some may be minor, but together they are symptomatic for a hotel that does not seem to be aimed at providing its guests a welcome and comfortable stay. For us the experience was so bad that we left after one night, even though it was prebooked and paid in advance for four.
1. Reception and restaurant staff was just barely correct at most and at at times even unfriendly.
2. The room was an appartment with 70s style furniture and curtains with uncomfortable beds. I have had uncomfortable beds more often in similar or even more luxurious hotels, but still, if your primary function is to provide a room with beds, then I expect a bit more...
3. It advertised a buffet restaurant. The meaning of this turned out to mean: you have a single menu (no choice) and you just have to get it yourself from the buffet.
4. We had to chose for a dinner slot and got an assigned table. When we arrived during our slot, other people were at our table (they hadn't stuck to their assigned slot). As there were no other tables available we were ushered to a back-room where they quickly dressed a table for us. When we mentioned this to the reception, we were told that we just should have told the other people to leave our table. I would expect the hotel/restaurant staff to do that for us; not make it our responsibility to defend our table from the anti-social.
5. Restaurant seemed understaffed. At dinner drinks were just quickly put in the center of our table instead of served, and the waiter rushed off. At breakfast, when we made a friendly comment to the girl who quickly cleared and dressed the table for us, she didn't respond and probably hardly noticed. During breakfast I noticed she was the only one in that part of the restaurant and continuously rushing to clear and dress tables.
6. WiFi is only available in the lobby and you have to pay for it (no free wifi). I realize this is not a must, but then again, nowadays most hotels have free wifi and not having it is definitly a minus.
7. If you want to pay by credit card you have to pay a Euro 3,50 fee. Again, a merchant is allowed to charge a customer if he/she wants to pay with credit card, but I do not know of any other hotel that does that.

I do realize that I appreciate a bit more comfort and some people may disregard some of the things I mentioned in this review. However, because there were so many of them, they seem to point to more systemic issues.

Unfriendly and probably understaffed

We enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of this hotel.  The food was okay and the room was very nice.  We stayed in room 112 which had a spacious balcony and was very clean.  The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful.  The pool was not too large but, big enough to enjoy. The view from the Terrace was breathtaking and we enjoyed just sitting outside and taking in the sun and drinking our wine or coffee.  The hotel offers a very good price for the 5 nights stay all inclusive.  My only comments is that our all inclusive was limited.  I would have preferred to have coffee served all day long instead of only during breakfast and from 3:00pm tll 4:00pm.  Guest who are not alcohol drinkers prefer to enjoy coffee during the afternoon and not restricted to a certain time.  The 5 nights stay was very nice and I would recommend this hotel to guests who wants to enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains and relax....no stress!
Almost forgot...the hotel has a really nice spa area which I certainly enjoyed.  I had a wonderful facial and aroma massage which made my stay even more relaxing.

Very relaxing vacation in the mountains

We booked through ReisenAktuell GmbH travel agency and had a great price/value package. Excellent hotel with wonderful service about 5 km from the Czech border. Many hiking paths in the area, beautiful scenery, great food, very good value overall. The spa facility is especially good, with large pool.
