Super nice and friendly staff. Very hospitable and accommodating! Very clean and nice rooms. Great area for exploring and experiencing Germany! Must stay and will return for another visit. Highly recommend this place for a great and restful place to stay.

Stayed here for a week for work. I was very impressed. The staff were extremely polite and attentive and spoke great English. They had a very good breakfast offering by European standards. It was also only 8km to Weiden and the taxis were very affordable.

Perfect business hotel

I wouldn't stay any where else in a return trip to the area!  It was like staying with relatives. The staff went out of their way daily to accommodate every need and frankly, just to be pleasant and kind. 
Cleaning staff worked around the clock and did a beautiful job. I was working nights and slept all day but was so peaceful I never had an issue. 
The place is old but in a good way, nice furniture, each room different than the next, right in the center a great little town, and meeting areas on each floor if you are with friends. 
There may be a few amenities lacking but it helps to create a home-like environment. No coffee makers in the rooms, you have to actually go out in the main area and talk to people!!  Novel idea!  
To make a short story even longer.....loved it. Definitely will be back on a leisure trip soon!!

Just like home!!

We lived in this hotel one night during our bike trip. It was only one option in Neustadt for us and because we expected something like a guesthouse or cottage settlement, it was little bit expensive for us. 140 EUR per night, per room for 4 people. We are used to pay one half of this price in hotels like this one. 

But I must say, although the equipment and furniture was out-of-date, everything was clean and tidy. We felt good here. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was perfect. We missed nothing: great variety.

Neustadt is a nice village. If you have bike trip on Bockl-Radweg, you can start in Eslarn and after 52 km you can end your trip here in Neustadt. I can recommend.

Everything what we needed

We have stayed at the Hotel Grader before in the past and have always found it to be very clean and tidy.  This visit was no exception.  The staff is very efficient when checking in and out and helpful in providing information concerning the area.  They have a good breakfast buffet with choices between scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages, cold cuts, brotchen, muesli, and juices.  We will definitely stay in the Hotel Grader on our next visit to Neustadt an der Waldnaab.
