We stayed at Abendruhe for 4 nights due to a family emergency and a need to be close to Deisenhofen. The location is excellent - one block to main street in Deisenhofen in a quiet neighborhood street and walking distance to the S-bahn to Munich. 

The room was spatious and newly renovated. Breakfast was not only very good but I also likely the sunny and tasteful breakfast room. 

Real nice and helpful owners and staff.

Great value, modern and clean, wonderful staff

This is a very nice hotel about 8 miles south of Munich. The rooms are small but quite clean and the staff is nice. The town is on the S Bahn line. If traveling on a rail pass, the S Bahn is included in the price. Our room had a nice little porch overlooking a garden. While in Oberhaching, dine at  the excellent Café Aphrodite.

Nice quiet out of town hotel with great access to Muhich

We used this place as a temporary home for several weeks following a relocation with work.  The hotel is a fairly small, family run business in a quiet residential location.  It is 500m from the Deisenhofen S-Bahn station and the S3, S20 and S27 lines.  In addition, it is a 5 minute walk to the high street in Deisenhofen.
Our room, on the first floor, was well presented, clean and tidy.  It wasn't massive but was perfect for what we needed.  The bathroom was compact but again, was ideal for our purposes.  The shower was excellent with a very powerful flow of water.  The bed was very comfortable with two single duvets provided - which isn't unusual over here.
Breakfast was very good and typically German with a selection of cold meats, cheeses, rolls and cereals.  They had a good selection of teas along with coffee and fruit juice.  The breakfast room looked out onto a well maintained garden at the back of the hotel.
The staff, especially the two brothers, Martin and Stefan who run the hotel, were very friendly and welcoming.  They did their best to make us feel at home during our stay.
I've already mentioned it but it is worth stating it again - the neighbourhood where the hotel is located is very quiet.  You can hear the occasional car going by or S-Bahn train in the distance but apart from that the area is silent.
Overall we would recommend this hotel.  It was far enough outside of Munich to be away from the Oktoberfest crowds but close enough that we could be in the centre of the city within 30 minutes at the most.

A quiet, cosy hotel

just a few metres away from the Deisenhofen SBahn station, reaching Munich is quite easy. if you like staying in quiet cosy location, yet easily easily accessible to the main city center, this is an ideal choice. There is free parking around and nested in nice residential location in Oberhaching in Munich. the rooms are clean and comfortable.

The best thing you can say about this hotel is that it's clean. Other than that it has very little to recommend itself. The rooms are spartan, more like a hostel. The check-in staff (might be the owner and a relative) are either absent, or if there rude and unhelpful. The whole place has an unwelcoming atmosphere and is terribly overpriced for the little it has to offer. Locally, there are much better options available.
