The Seabauer family operates this raw hotel/hospitality business. The family is heart and soul involved and super adorable. The rooms are raw and in a style that suits the whole ambience. The dinner was very tasty and the service was great. We can recommend this hotel with pleasure. The breakfast was standard.

Business in Oettingen

We come to Öttingen every two years for the Medieval Festival. We always go down the crown. Prices are a little more expensive at this time than usual, which I think is quite legitimate. You just have to look at Munich during the Oktoberfest. Because in Öttingen the something is even more tolerable. The rooms are all being suggestively renovated, which the crown does very well. The hotel is not a top hotel, but a nice accommodation with a very lovable chef.

Every two years

Central location in the central square of Oettingen. Old hotel, but comfortable beds, small bathroom and spacious room. Relation quality- good price. Repetition accommodation. Entrance of the hotel by the side of the street, by the main entrance enters the restaurant, no he ate but has a good look. Typical German cuisine.

I had this on night on this fine hotel. My room was perfect, and the food they served was perfect. They even asked me to join another group on MTB when we where eating. It was great. They prices is fair. I would like to come back

Fine hotel in and old town

I'm often in the crown. The rooms are average. If you're being honest, a little renovation would be necessary in one room or another. But for me it's okay. The rooms are clean and there's still a delicious meal in the evening if you're lucky with the weather in the beer garden.

Average hotel with delicious food

At first I was skeptical of the hotel, but after a few minutes, I was drawn into the charm of this hotel. From the wooden panels, to the friendly staff, and attention to detail, this hotel is a great place to stay... We were here on a tour with EF and the staff couldn't be anymore accommodating for the needs of our group.

Quaint and clean hotel in the German countryside

For one night we had to pay 150 euros for our room.We found an old, inhabited hotel with a nice smell. In the bathroom half the lighting was defective... make-up as a woman adventurous.

Pure offal

On our way back from the beautiful South Tyrol, our stay this year was in the beautiful Oettingen.The reception at the hotel was very friendly, instead of the historic room overlooking the market, we had one overlooking the Bavarian office.

The crown lacks a sack

We stayed here for a friend's wedding and the staff couldn't do enough to help all of the travellers coming through the hotel for this wedding.  Breakfast was plentiful and yummy.  Fresh pastries and cereals with an optional hot breakfast as well, made fresh.  It's an old, historic hotel on a beautiful street.  We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely

This lovely half-timbered building is directly on the Jakobsweg route, and located between the Rathaus and the St Jakob's Church, on the main shopping street in the old part of town. All the main sights are within easy walking distance. Staff was friendly and welcoming, and spoke enough English. Room and bath were spacious, modern, and well-equipped. Hotel restaurant had a smaller menu but the dishes were well executed and tasty. I had the assortment platter, which I would recommend. Breakfast was an excellent cold buffet, as well as eggs to order (fried or scrambled).
