For the Bruce Springsteen concert at the Hockenheim Ring, we were looking for a nearby hotel. Searching for portals was fruitless, and then I realized that a few years ago, I had stayed in a small hotel near Schwetzingen. In my documents, I found a list of good hotels and then found the Hotel Waldschlösschen with the Artemis restaurant. First, highly recommended. Good, clean and modern rooms, but that was not crucial, it was the warmth and friendliness of the owner and the staff.

I've been to the forest lock for the second time, which is very close to the Hockenheimring, and even at the top of the races there's still a room at a reasonable price. The rooms are nice. The service is great, the boss himself makes great efforts to make everyone feel comfortable and to get a place in the restaurant even if everything is full. The hotel includes the Artemis restaurant, an excellent Greek restaurant that seems to be very popular, because it's always full, yet the food always comes very quickly. The restaurant serves breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is lovingly prepared and still serves some hot breads.

Nice and cozy hotel, great service / restaurant Artemis excellent

The connection to the motorway, the rooms, the staff, the restaurant and the really beautiful beer garden in the summer make the Waldschlössel Hotel a very good choice for a night's sleep. Especially for business travellers, the proximity to the motorway to Mannheim, Heidelberg or SAP to Walldorf is optimal. The restaurant invites perfectly after a working day to turn off with a good meal and an ouzo ;)

Great for business travelers.

I was on a short vacation at this hotel, already known to me for the restaurant, where I celebrated many parties. I enjoyed the very cozy, cozy and clean atmosphere in this very cozy room. Very satisfying the dining, all the more appreciated thanks to the sympathy. Criticism? The bathroom is a little bit small. I'll be back very, very happy.

Deep in the silent forest

We stayed for several weeks with two to four people at the Hotel Waldschlössel. The price and performance were very good. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything. The wireless in the area very poorly served by the telecom was running well and stable. The breakfast was more than enough and there was nothing missing. We will be very happy to return alone because of the accompanying and fantastic restaurant Artemis.

Fitting

For business travelers for 1 night OK, the room is still big enough and dinner in the connected Greek restaurant is really great... BUT... because of these same restaurants it smelled very, very FREAT FITTER FITTER (to be precise: Kalamaris-FITTER FITTER FITTER FITTER), which I found very uncomfortable. Unfortunately the smell also moved to the room with Vodafone reception: you will find here one of the last radio holes in Germany! But for this there is free WLAN.

Room 8: The interior of the room is good. The wardrobe is 50cm wide and a storage box is limited. The wardrobe is at the bottom of the wardrobe. To use it you have to get on your knees. The cell phone reception (T-Mobile) is very bad. The WiFi is excellent. At the bathroom, the only thing that bothered me was that there was not enough storage space at the washing table. Whoever wants to shower at 6:00 gets only lukewarm water. There is no breakfast buffet. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Restaurant in the house and is good.
