We ended up in the Biergarten for our diner. It is a cosy place and perfect when it is a sunny day, like we had. 

The personnel is friendly and helpful. Diner was very good. It is a good place to stop on your way to your destination. 

Recommend this place and would certainly come back again when we are in the neighborhood.

Dinner on the way to Sweden

Whatever you do do not accept a room on the front side opposite the lorry loading factory, you will not sleep. MAKE SURE that you will have a room on the back of the building! It sounds like when you are to close to the engine room in a big ship ALL NIGHT!!! I tried to change room but impossible they told me to use earplugs!? 
I'm sure the restaurant is good but my god what a night, it would have been better to sleep in the car on a car park next to Autobahn! 

The WiFi was very poor, several people in the stairs the signal was okay there but not in the room.

Never again!

NO sleep!!

We stopped on our way to Scandinavia. We were lucky enough to arrive at one minute past nine in the evening, that is one minute after the kitchen closed. At least we could have a beer and a glass of wine in the restaurant but off course no peanuts.... The room was small with trains passing by outside the window. On top of it we did not expect three beds only when we had made reservation for 2 adults and 2 children. We will not go back!

Disapointed!

This hotel is located is Osnabruck Hafen district. It is just off motorway to continue towards Bremen or Hegel depending which direction you are going. We booked it because of its location. It was quite basic rooms. There was a TV. We slept well, it was not noisy. We had a good basic breakfast in a nicely decorated restaurant in the morning and left early. A good stop!

Good hotel to stop right off the motorway

Went for a quick dinner stop along the way home. There is enough parking and the place looks nice. Interior is quite good (Bavarian style). Although it was not busy the waitress seemed a bit stressed... We got a menu quick and we ordered a flatbread (German style) and a chicken filet with a baked potato and a salad. The salad you could pick yourself at a small saladbar near the entrance. Although not too much choice it was fresh and good (and only 3,50 euros anyway). Flatbread was very tasty and good size, chicken filet was baked very well and not dry at all. It came with a few slices of white bread and herb butter. But then the baked potato with sour cream, man man, that was tasty. It was clearly baked in oven was not overcooked but perfectly done. The sour cream was homemade and tasted very very good. We finished our meal, payed at the counter and continued our journey with a full stomach! Good alternative for the crap-restaurants alongside the roads in Germany, only a few hundred meters from the highway. Service could be faster, but we also did not say we were in a hurry or something. Would recommend going here it surely is not my last visit!

Dinner only here

Pulled off the autobahn and saw this place. It looked ok.

In the reception there wasjust one lady seemingly doing everything.

She said they had a room but could I wait a few minutes. I said no problem and went out to my car to get my stuff.

When I got back she more or less threw a form at me to fill in...which I did.

 She then took the money from 3 lots of diners who had finished eating, served some guy propping up the bar a small pils, took his money too, and then took all the plates from the 3 tables to the kitchen.

Meanwhile I just stood there like soft Mick.

I screwed up the form,  threw it on the desk and walked out.

Turned out to be a lucky move for me as I ended up at the Hotel Remarque in the town centre. .  so much better and for almost the same price.

Don't misunderstand,  I don't object to her finishing off the payment of the guests that she was already dealing with but to leave me waiting whilst she cleared the tables was just rude.

She was bad tempered too. I'd had a hard day too but didn't take it out on her.

A smile and some staff training wouldn't go amiss!

Didn't even book in!

We were driving from Dunkirk to Copenhagen and this hotel was an ideal break point approx 5 hours from Dunkirk, just off the motorway. It is atmospheric with well appointed rooms, ours also had a balcony. It is close to some lovely walks through the woods. They have a brilliant beer garden and good, inexpensive food is served there. We paid £53 for bed and a good breakfast.
