The service at this hotel is friendly and friendly; I had a nice single room, but the location down the street is not so good because of the noisy street. We enjoyed a good dinner. Having booked the Harzer Hexenstieg with baggage transfer, we got a great dinner package in the morning.

Friendly service, good room facilities

I didn't choose the hotel. It was part of my booked trip. I must say I was welcomed kindly. The rooms are absolutely fine and the dining in the restaurant and the associated beer are absolutely recommended 😉. I thank you for the friendly reception and wish you good luck!

Resilient and warm

Very friendly and attentive staff. When I had gluten-free bread for breakfast, I was immediately offered to get gluten-free bread for me the next day. Very well-maintained room. Overall, an excellent price-performance ratio.

Feeling Comfortable as a Guest

For the fifth time now, as a small family (father, mother and a 2-year-old son) we were allowed to be guests at the Röddenberg Hotel and we love it! We are regularly looking to escape from Berlin to relax and escape the capital. It is simply true everything in this house - from A to Z; from arrival to room is just great. The house restaurant refreshes us every time with very good regional cuisine - you can taste the passion and love of cooking! If I list all the positive aspects of the house, it would blow the frame.

Beautiful house with excellent cuisine and warm staff in Osterode

Warm welcome, friendly staff, very big room, spacious bed. There is a lift. 
People are hanging around at the reception desk and in the bar. Not clear if they are staff (can you ask them something?). Feels a bit strange. 
The bathroom was small with a glass door next to the font door. 
The fact that you need to pay for the breakfast seperatly makes this hotel too expensive for the value you get compared to other hotels in this city and definitely in the region. And btw the breakfast was good but not top.

You expect more for this price

We booked our first stop here for our walk on Witch's Ladder. We were greeted with a pleasant welcome and the room is spacious and clean - the bed is also comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel has come to an end over the years - it is urgently needed to be renovated and modernized.

Nice - a little old - hotel

This is the second time we have stayed at this family run hotel and once again enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. Room was large. Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast always good. Ivey cold beer from the tap. Meals in the dining room always fresh and tasty. Easy walk into the town.

Another great stay

Very nice and helpful people! Great, quiet location near the city center. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The restaurant offers a good selection of very tasty food and drinks at fair prices. The breakfast is very, very good.

Walking on the Harzer Hexenstieg

Das Hotel ist alt, da ist es schwer ständig den neusten Standard anzubieten. Dies war aber wie eine Reise in die 80er Jahre. Hotelrezeption mitten im lärmigen Gastraum, Bad mit Glastür, Vorhänge sind zu schmal fürs Fenster, altes Duschgel vom Vorgast im Bad vergessen, Rollo an der Balkontür kaputt, gehetztes Personal...Wir würden das Hotel nicht wieder wählen!

It's an old hotel, so I do understand that the newest standard can't be met in everything. But this was like trip to the 1980's. The reception is in the middle of the restaurant (at the time of our arrival very noisy), the bathroom in the room had a glas door, curtains didn't cover the wholw window, old shower gel from a previous guest was left, the roller blind on balcony door was broke, staff was hurried and stressed... We would not choose this hotel again!

Very disappointing/ Recht enttäuschend

In the best case, a good parking space for the car if you start in Osterode and walk the Witch's Ladder. However, 4 euros a day is not the bargain either. Effortful friendly and completely redesigned service. The room is borderline. Mattresses are all over the place, bad smell. No way to darken properly. The bathroom is a bad joke with toilet seat on your knees. The food is at the level of a Gastro in a department store. We booked a complete package with additional stays in other hotels through a travel agent, the price per double room I am not aware of. However, if I read on the homepage 74p.P. DZ, I can only recommend!
