Charming, small, owner-managed hotel with TOP Breakfast & Service

For the second time, we chose the Villa Maresgruss as a vacation home. It was definitely the right choice in these times of corona. Our suite was generous, clean and equipped with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast - just great. There was nothing missing here. All this at a more than a fair price. And the friendly and always well-mooded staff also deserves a great compliment. But what requires a special boost is the fact that the hotel operators have developed and implemented an exemplary hygiene concept.

The perfect vacation

We spend our first holiday at the Baltic Sea and are thrilled. We will definitely return to the Villa Mergruss. The holiday apartment is impressive with plenty of space, good facilities and is super well maintained. The hosts are always approachable and have good tips for leisure design. The breakfast buffet convinced us and left no wish open. If you want to spend your holidays in a family environment, this hotel should be at the top of the list.

Great family hotel in the heart of Binz

The villa is located 5 minutes' walk from the sea. The staff is very friendly, the room on the ground floor was nice but quite small and the double bed with only 1.60 m wide was a little too narrow, which is excellent for the mattresses. Unfortunately, the floor in the bathroom was only wiped once a week, as hair, etc. remained for several days. The balcony is wonderful for sitting, unfortunately the smoke from the smokers blows very uncomfortable into the next room - for non-smokers. Likewise, you had to pull the curtains cleanly, so that the bright light from outside does not come in.

Good breakfast allowance in reserve

We also felt very welcome and comfortable in this beautiful house during our second stay. We had a suite and heard the sea and the monkeys from the room. Breakfast is great. The whole staff is extremely friendly and attentive. We are happy to come back.

A Wonderful Stay

After 10 years we went back to Binz on a whim and booked the same hotel again. Meanwhile, new operators - a younger very committed couple who really spoil their guests in the house... The house from 1902 is a real dream - beautifully restored and maintained or modernized. One had a great room on the second floor with an outdoor balcony. There we felt very, very comfortable. A spacious, well and nicely equipped room was at our disposal. We enjoyed the choice and quality of the first floor very much. We enjoyed it every morning. Unfortunately, our 5 days in the hotel were a lot of meals quickly. We would like to go back to the hotel without expressing any further recommendations!:-)

The villa is located in the heart of Binz, close to the beach. The hotel is a 20th-century villa protected as a historic monument. The rooms are fully renovated and partly have sea views. The young owner couple is committed and always strives for the well-being of the guests.

A great hotel in excellent condition.

It's a beautiful old mansion, recently renovated, the rooms are large and bright, comfortable and clean, the staff is very nice, breakfast varied and abundant.

A B&B to try.

Beautiful villa. Amazing soundproofing - in the quiet room, the neighbors can't hear. Spacious room, spacious bathroom. And on the first and second floors of the balcony. Clean, cozy. The owners are welcoming. Breakfast is quite satisfying and varied. Guests come from year to year. Convenient location: 2 minutes to bus stops, to the central street, to the promenade and restaurants.

Full of excitement

Excellent villa, extremely convenient. From the train station 20 minutes walk (one bus stop), to the bus stops - 2 minutes walk to each side, to the promenade and restaurants 5 minutes walk, next to the shops, a small kiosk with fried fish, kiosk with fresh strawberries... welcoming hosts always coming to help. Good breakfasts. Rooms for non-smokers, but you can smoke on the balcony. Clean, cozy... For relaxing rest.
