Nice, well-maintained and clean hotel in a good location to the train station. Ideal for hiking trips. Hotel is very friendly, breakfast is stable. Unfortunately it is relatively noisy. Road, train, etc. That's the only thing missing. Nice to be back! Recommended.

Nostalgic classics

This is one of the good old German hotels along the river road. The rooms are well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a big window so it is full of light and if you open the window fresh air. The shower is hot and has good water pressure. There is a table and chair in the room so you can work if you must. WiFi is fast and worked well. The room was super clean as well!
The owner is very friendly and prepares a good breakfast. There is plenty so you will not go hungry. Downstairs is a restaurant and a bar. They have two pool tables as well.
A supermarket is about 4 minutes to walk and the river about 6. Lots of shops in the city center that start 3 minutes from the hotel. 
You can park your bike or motorbike in the back so it is safe!
I love this small family-run places - I would stay there again if passing!

Great Old School Place close to the River

We felt very comfortable... again and again. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was very large and clean. The breakfast was also delicious. There was also an egg. Tea, coffee and cocoa were also abundant.

Very pleasant atmosphere

The hotel is located right by the train station in Andernach. It is an old inn with hotel operations. The house is old. It has the charm of the 70s and 80s. But the rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. After initial difficulties I get the Internet to run at least on the laptop. Unfortunately not on the smartphone. The train line will run all night, but there was no noise from my room. For this, the noise from the hallway was already uncomfortable. The bathroom is also clean. In the shower there is a shower gel. You have to bring this yourself. But there is also no drug mixer in the shower. The service is free. The price-performance ratio is correct.

Right by the train station

When we eventually found our way into this hotel we were welcomed in. This was more of a basic hotel but we had a good stay here. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We walked to the centre and on to the river, where we found a nice restaurant to have a meal. A very positive stay.

Don't judge a book by its cover

Booked the hotel as our first night recreating a road trip we took in 1971. Arrived in good time (about 4-30 p.m.) to find the hotel closed up. Took us a while to get Klaus to respond to the door bell, but once in all was well. Reasonably large rooms with traditional beds and furniture. Sadly, through lack of trade, Klaus doesn't open the bar but we wandered into town for the evening and had a good meal (Schnitzel, of course) and returned home to a good night's sleep. Bathroom was good and shower was reasonable given the age of the building. Breakfast was great and Klaus cooked boiled eggs to order. Coffee was fresh and good which set us up well for that day's travelling.

Better in than out

We stayed one night at the Andernacher Hof Hotel during a bike ride. We had a great reception. The boss speaks a little French. The hotel has a bicycle storage area. It is very well located: near the train station, a pharmacy, a post office, and a supermarket. The city centre is interesting to visit, and it is a 10-minute walk away. The room is simple but very tidy, and the bed is very good quality. The breakfast is cozy and good. I highly recommend this hotel, which is of very good quality/price ratio.

Excellent reception and very good price/quality ratio

The owners are very friendly, the service is excellent, breakfast and the room are also good for an affordable hotel, but I cannot confirm the quiet location. There was a lot going on on the road and the freight trains ran all night.

Cheap and good

Simple, but clean and warm room, no noise, super price, breakfast was more than adequate for the price paid, no more can be asked.

It's good to be back.

super friendly staff, large rooms, a rich breakfast, located close to the city centre, 5 minutes from the city centre, we were able to have breakfast as early as 06:30 if we wanted and also had the opportunity to drop things off on site - highly recommended
