Very traditional and welcoming hotel and restaurant serving delicious local specialties. Owners very kind and were great at making recommendations on food and wine. It made an excellent and convenient stopover on our way to the Austrian alps for skiing

Perfect Bavarian experience

Hotel closed on arrival but still my booking.   Hotel took my booking 24/ 10/2022 but when my wife arrived on Wednesday 18/2/2023 the hotel was closed. This left my wife and very distraught as we were in a country we couldn’t speak language off and having to find alternative accommodation after a very long driver,

Hotel closed.

This hotel is a real treat.  The rooms are very good.  The food served in the garden is superb with a great atmosphere.  On top of everything the level of service from Frau Wanya and her team is really first class.  Very friendly and helpful.  We will be sure to return again.

Wonderful hotel, full of character and with superb service

The food here is so authentic! We had sausage, asparagus (the local thing apparently) and beef broth with liver. The kids had pork schnitzel. Each course was paired with a glass of wine and the strudel was delicious at the end. Loved it! 

So authentic 

Highly recommended eatery near holiday let. Setting nor quality of food did not disappoint. We tried really hard with our German them with their English and a fantastic experience had by all. 5 meals, 3 deserts with soft drinks and beer/wine €84. 

Beautiful setting despite light rain

pretty town, central, and very traditional hotel, kind and courteous hosts, excellent food, comfortable rooms, good value.
We have been back there every year for the past three years and we are going back there this week....

what is not to like?

Lovely restaurant located in the beautiful town of Prichsenstadt. We ate in the courtyard which has a prominent tree as it's centrepiece, and the place was clearly popular as there were not many free tables. Despite this, we were seated and the staff were attentive. The selection of food and drinks was comprehensive and good value for money; the meals themselves were plentiful and delicious. 

Good food in a wonderful setting

A beautiful week-end in the middle of the beautiful Franconia's vineyards. After an over three hours' walk to Schwanberg and back, a well-deserved overnight stop at Gasthof zum Storch. Enjoyed the meal, the wine degustation and the cozy atmosphere. Everywhere in the Gasthof you can see love for details and respect for the guests.
