Friends of ours had booked Himmel and Hoelle for us and then were unable to travel with us.  They had told us about the set-up of the accommodation----three apartments above a restaurant---so we knew what to expect.  The apartments were spacious, very clean and just what we expected.  No air conditioning but the windows opened and let in plenty of fresh air.  The building  is on a very quiet side street about 5 minutes walk from the main town square so it was away from the hustle and bustle of the town.  Be aware that parking is available a short walk from the building but you are able to drop off luggage on the narrow side street where the building is located.  Check-in and check-out is done with restaurant personnel so it is most easily accomplished while the restaurant is open.  The service staff at the restaurant were very helpful and we ended up eating dinner at the restaurant upon arrival.  Try the lasagna----delicious!

Nice, basic accommodation in Quedlinburg

We had a great date night here. The atmosphere is really romantic, the service nice and personal and the food nice, well cooked and reasonably priced. The restaurant is centrally located even though it's hidden away in a back street. Don't stop searching though, it's worth it. 

Super cozy

We were on a romantic, medieval trip across germany and quedlinburg was the best part of the trip. This b&b was so full of charm and the best part was we drank the night away in a quaint garden at the back of the restaurant which they let us use even though they locked up for the night. Its on a narrow, quiet street. Right  outside are really oldhalf timbered buidlings from 1400s and you can sit outside and enjoy this view. The rathaus and the town square is just a few feet away around the corner. The food was great, home cooked. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing, we had the suite which had a room, bathroom and pantry. Very clean, smelled awesome. Had free wifi, only stairs but a young man helped carry our bag. Wish we stayed longer than one day. Was exactly what we were looking for in a romantic trip as we were looking for quaint romantic characterful places to stay. It just had that something extra to make you come away feeling like you will cherish this memory forever.

Charming, quaint, romantic

We were excited by the reviews of the Inn. We arrived to a locked up empty restaurant and a locked gate to the rooms.  Nice locals tried to help us and we finally found a small note telling us to call a number. We did and a delightful student arrived and gave us a cursory introduction to the rooms and left. the owners were on vacation so the highly rated restaurant was closed and we really had no service. The apartment was very basic. All was a bit dusty. It was almost too old, too lonely. May be ok as price is good but be aware this place is basic

sorry, overrated

We stayed 2 nights in this small apartment.Charming  half timbered with loads of character.walk up stairs, no elevator.Free internet. Private parking nearby at a cost of 3 euros a night(GPS recommended)Well equipped ,clean and location very central to old town.Very good value for money we really enjoyed our stay.
