Great atmosphere in a factory house. Rooms spacious and clean. Very good big bed. Air conditioning, WiFi. Very good breakfast buffet. Friendly service. We were making a lot of noise on Saturday night because we had a room by the street and it was across from a restaurant with an outdoor area. Not every guest is on the road until late at night.

Nice hotel for a short break.

During the spontaneous search for an extended holiday weekend in the resin, we noticed this piece of jewelry and were lucky enough to get the last free double room. The central location in the middle of the old town of Quedlinburg is the ideal starting point for explorations in the beautiful UNSECO World Heritage Site and excursions in the surrounding area. Parking spaces are available a few minutes on foot, to be designed and loaded in front of the hotel.

Last minute short break

The hotel is in a good location. But to be in a global pandemic, they lack any kind of security. The workers walk around without a mask, at breakfast it is impossible to keep any minimum distance. You also have to book an appointment that they do not keep, in our case we went down at the agreed time and they "kindly" offered us to go out to the terrace to have breakfast, when it was cold and nobody was there. Instead of offering us a good solution (I understand that the problem was that some people  did respect the given appointment, but that is not my problem) they placed us in a corridor at a table that they use to put advertising and in which it was very difficult to have a good breakfast. To access the rooms you have to climb many stairs that are not very accessible. Although the stay promised to be very quiet, they spoil your vacation.

No protection against covid-19

The hotel is very clean, we had a very nice room, room size is sufficient, wishes are satisfied by the service staff. They are friendly and kind. Parking is subject to a fee, but for that it is in a closed parking area. Breakfast is sufficient and offers everything you want in the morning. The dining area is a little small for the many guests, but you have time on vacation. I would love to stay at the hotel again.

Charming hotel with friendly staff in a very beautiful city, which is wonderful to stay in with its many streets.

Nice hotel in the centre of Quedlinburg. The breakfast was generous, the service attentive and friendly. We can definitely recommend it further. The city itself is impossible to make on a weekend, let's see when we come by here again.

The weekend trip

It was a very well-maintained workhouse in the heart of the city from the outside and inside. Parking was available in front of the house. The welcome was very friendly. The room was very small, a little outdated and filled for the room. The mattresses were very good, the bathroom was perfectly fine. We had a room on the street, right across from a Greek restaurant. In winter it might not be a problem. In summer, when guests sit outside and you have the window open, it's too loud to sleep. The breakfast was rich, no question. The breakfast room is unfavorable, it's very small, and sometimes you have to share a meal with other guests or come back later.

Disappointed

The b&b is in an old (1617) and charming building with the bedrooms spread throughout in different nooks and crannies.  The rooms are clean and the family room we stayed in was very spacious. We stayed here off-season and were the only guests.  Because of this I thought the breakfast would be small but they set out an elaborate and tasty breakfast.  Although the hotelier did not speak much English and I don’t speak German, she was very nice and we were able to get by with google translate. Note: the parking is available but offsite.  Highly recommend it.

We were at the Old Fritz for a night and we're excited, very nice old craft house in the historic center, convenient rooms, good breakfast and very friendly staff We'd love to come back Manu&Tino

Beautiful and central

Nice, small hotel with rustic flair in the centre of town. I highly recommend a short trip. The hotel is in an old workshop with winding corridors. However, very large people have to pay attention to their heads in some places.
