The hotel is well located, it has a comfortable room but it has no air conditioning and refrigerator. The restaurant on the ground floor offers Italian food of excellent quality. Parking in the back is adequate and free. The daily price is reasonable.

Meets all needs

In the restaurant, we had a pleasant evening served by Olsi, who even struggled to meet the peculiar taste of my mother, who wanted something out of the menu. However, the restaurant was very convenient, and I suggested that the restaurant and the kitchen staff, who were not in the hotel room, who were very comfortable and who were not in the hotel room. Exactly what we needed.

It was a good stay in this lovely little hotel.
Our room was spacious and clean, even though simple.
We enjoyed a view over the city walls.
There is no breakfast included but there are plenty of cafes nearby.
Would surely recommend it .

Modern and clean rooms, enviable location

This place is a real find. It's not expensive and the room we had was superb, modern decoration, modern furniture, nice bathroom and a view straight out to the town walls and roder tower. The room was really clean and had a tassimo machine so you could make yourself a drink. Although this place is just inside the town walls and on one of the main routes in and out of the old town, it really wasn't noisy at all and we had a room on the front corner overlooking both the street and the wall. If you want to walk the walls you can literally walk straight out of the guest entrance and up the stairs. If you want to walk to the Christmas market/town square it's only a 5 minute walk. Really easy access to the Christmas market from here. Even the medieval torture/criminal museum is only a 5 min walk away. It also has some parking spaces available to guests if you pre book. It's not immediately outside but only a 30 second walk away. If you want to have breakfast you can pay extra and it's really good value. There was a lovely selection of everything you need for breakfast and the most delicious cappuccino freshly made. 

And if you're worrying that the rooms will be noisy from the restaurant down below, Don't! We were on the front corner right over the restaurant and we couldn't hear a thing from it day or evening.

To check in, just pop inside the restaurant and tell them you have a room booked. Then they will show you the side entrance for guests and show you the room, and even help you with your bags. Really good service.

This is a superb place to stay and we will most definitely be back.

What a find. Love this place.

This is a great location.  Very convenient from the train and very easy to get around the City.  The bonus is that it is above an excellent restaurant which makes it easy to have dinner then stumble off to bed. Room was spacious with places for your things. Not far from the square.

Excellent choice!

Hotel is located right next to the town wall and in short pleasant stroll from the center. Hosts are very welcoming and accommodating . Our spacious and clean room had comfortable bed and good-size bathroom.  There were also a coffee maker and a tray with cookies etc in the room and electric kettle in the common area in case you want tea instead. Bakery is 2 steps away  and offers many tempting items for the  breakfast. Private parking is a nice bonus. Some of the our windows were facing the street and the noise could have been an issue if not earplugs. 
It is not a luxury hotel but it is pleasant, convenient and clean plus value for the money is excellent.

Excellent value

Hotel is a short walk from train station, get out of train station and head left. We travelled from Frankfurt & had to catch 3 trains to get here, make sure you have at least 40 minutes between the Frankfurt train & your next train as Frankfurt trains tend not to run on time. I get impression all Hotels in rothenburg are similar. The room in this one was clean but small, bed comfortable, no Airconditioning, no bar fridge. If you opened window room was very noisy. Bathroom was clean. There is a shopping centre across the road from train station which has a large supermarket in it. The hotel has a restaurant, food looked expensive and average, we did not eat there. Overall an ok place, but in summer you need to open your window so & there is loud Street noise all night.

All the same

We received a very warm welcome, a nice and quiet room and after a stroll in the city decided to have our dinner there too: nice service, good food, excellent place.. We fully recommend this house! Parking is on a private lot, 50m from the hotel.

Worth its rating!

We have booked an overnight stay here and can warmly recommend the house. Very friendly reception, charming house right on the city wall and thus ideal starting point for exploring the old town. Clean room with spacious bathtub (the only disturbing thing here was the loud fan and the lack of shower curtain). The breakfast, which is optional for 9€ per person, is definitely worth booking (rich buffet, very attentive service).
