A very friendly welcoming stay , would definitely stay again. Well  situated and easy to find , perfect place to stop on a long drive across Europe .
Very clean rooms and the bed was firm , an excellent nights sleep .

Very welcoming

The Ibis accomodation was very clean, and the reception attendant have been very nice and helpful. We will be using this Ibis Budget in the near future again. We had 2 rooms and all rooms have been very nice and clean. Working Aircondition was a bonus :)

Pleasure stay

Two stars for budget and cleanliness, I was upset after being locked out of room after making reservations for 3 days. I didn't understand that paying at the kiosk was only for one night after entering credit card information. The receptionist said it was my fault because everything was on the documentation. I acknowledge my mistake and I apologize for being rude. It's what after she said makes me not want to come back. But I was being rude, she said, then I said your attitude is not making the situation any better. Just a little bit of advice, if you want customers to come back be customer centric, and if we have to pay a little bit more for customer service I don't have a problem  paying, it's a matter of principle. Have your receptionist have a little bit more empathy for travelers that don't speak  or write German language. 



Expect this situation if it's your first rodeo staying at this motel 

Easy access from the motorway, although slightly tricky to get there due to some roadworks which is not unusual in Germany. 
Good and easy parking. Easy to access the room via electronic booking facility. 
Cleanliness can be improved both on corridors and inside the room. 

Practical hotel

I was looking for a regular one night stay with good price/quality value.
It matches what I was expecting. Clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, friendly stuff.
Nice stay on business trip or on a longer ride.


Comfortable and easy stay

We used the Ibis Budget Saarbruecken Ost twice in January as an overnight stop for our trip to Austria.  We've used it before.  It's a great place to stay.  Nice, clean rooms and a great breakfast buffet.  Attentive staff.  Highly recommended.  Back again in June :-) 

Very pleased!

We were driving across europe back to Calais & looking for a cheap hotel for 1 night that took dogs, this fitted bill perfectly.
We booked online, arrived at 6 in the evening & reception was expecting us. We checked in very easily & took our 2 dogs to the room. 
It was clean & was a nice basic room. With the window closed we couldn't hear the traffic.
It would of been nicer if there were more pillows (only 2 for 3 beds) & a kettle would of been perfect. But it fitted the bill.

Perfect accomodation for the traveller, all you need. It's clean, all facilities work, the windows are sufficient soundproof, and there is free parking.There is nothing to add, but  Tripadviser asks for 200 characters.

We had a great stay at this hotel.  Getting access to our rooms when we arrived was easy using the kiosk at the door (we knew reception would be closed when we arrived).  Our rooms were clean and well presented.  Despite being at the front of the hotel with a main road and the Metro going past, noise was not a problem.  Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly.  I would recommend this hotel with no hesitation and will stay here again. 

Great stay at Ibis Saarbrucken Ost

Easy to find but Saarbrucken is a very industrial town so more information as to local places to eat and when they are open.  Also the TV's in the rooms need to be updated I imagine not everyone who stays here is German and Saarbrucken is near the French/German border. Not being able to find a tv channel in French/Italian/English meant not being able to catch up on news, the weather for example.
