We had the room with sea view and balcony on the ground floor (although I had asked for a room in the 1st or 2nd OG 10 months before when I booked it). So the view from the room was installed at 1/3 of the roof of the plantation. The room itself was very small (no place to spread the suitcase), the carpet-related footrests dissolved, sucked only at one of the 7 days, the balcony was full of spider webs and old leaves, the toilet was 10-15cm high (hence the legs were building up in the air  although I am not very small at 168 cm), the morning time is only very early 8-10 hours, the alarm clock rings back at the old one on a permanent early evening (no staff was available to take a break, since the alarm clock had been set in the next morning, and then the alarm clock would have been set in the next hour), but if we had been able to get a good time, we would have had to wait for the next hour and then the next hour, but if we had been able to get a good time, so that we would have had to get a

We were very disappointed.

We were guests at the Hotel Margress in June 2022. We were very kindly received and everything was explained to us. We immediately noticed the nicotine smell. In the room it was no longer there, but on all walks and in the entrance area. The room had a great view of the promenade of Sassnitz, you can even hear the sound of the sea. The room itself is clean and spacious, but it speaks of the charm of the '90s! There is something urgent to be done. Even the bathroom reminded us of a hospital. The breakfast was very sporadic and unloving. We then headed to the local bakery. There is a wonderful breakfast, but unfortunately, during our stay, we were only once left to look outside, although it would have been a nice place to stay, and we could not choose an alternative, but we could not look for it and look for it.

Great location, great view, but no more up to date

Very good location with great sea view, which I really enjoyed from the room. This is also why you pay the horrible room price. The breakfast was good, but not as excellent as at my other hotels on the same trip (which were even cheaper). It was nice that you could sit outside at breakfast. Parking is free a few hundred meters away from the hotel. Out and invites can even stay one night directly at the hotel.

You pay for the great sea view

Very nice family-run hotel. Complete service very nice. Have a large room, accessible and very clean. Beds are very good. Nice decent breakfast. On arrival you will be provided with card material. Anytime again.

Highly recommended holiday hotel

The staff is very friendly and takes care of the well-being of the guests, affordable, top location with a great view of the sea, sleeping and waking up with sea noise.

This is an absolute recommendation.

Top hotel with friendly staff. Very good room with balcony and sea view. Very good breakfast, especially the coffee is great. A few parking spaces at the house, otherwise free parking a few minutes walk away.

It's a nice little hotel.

My wife and I have had a very nice weekend again on the rocks. This hotel offers very nice rooms with a dreamlike view of the Baltic Sea. When you leave the window at night, you hear the sound of the waves breaking at the stone dam. The rooms are large enough and equipped with everything that is prescribed for a three-star house. The rooms are cleaned daily. The breakfast is in buffet form and absolutely sufficient. Very nice selection and fresh bread. While you sit down to a house in a kind of winter garden with a view of the Baltic Sea. There is also a problem. You can also drive directly to the discharge, then you can't get a parking ticket to the 200 meters away from the main square. To drive to a park which we will visit again for free.

Weekend trip to Sassnitz

Had four nights in this charming hotel. It's situated in the old part of Sassnitz and is surrounded by many building built in the mid 1800s although I'm not sure how old this particular building is.
We paid for a 'Comfort' Double room which gave us some extra space and we were very please to be offered a room on the top (3rd) floor (there is a lift in the building)with wonderful views across the bay. We were very lucky with the weather and it was possible to get views across to Binz and we could even just make out the 'Prora' development.
The room provided had been kitted out so that it was suitable for disabled people - although not needed by us, a large walk-in shower was a welcome feature.
The room was furnished to simple style, everything worked and it was spotlessly clean. The room had a small balcony with chairs and a table - a thoughtful touch was the provision of some cushions for the outdoor chairs.
An ample buffet breakfast is provided with the option to sit outside if the weather is nice.
The staff are very friendly and made us feel very welcome.  The hotel is about a 17 minute walk from the station so on arrival at Sassnitz, we took at bus to the nearest stop and then walked the short distance to the hotel (details of the bus/nearest stop are available on the hotel website. NB I think it's only an hourly service so best to check in advance. When leaving the hotel, reception ordered a taxi for us and that only cost 7 Euros.

Fantastic views

We've been to this hotel a few times, especially in the winter, and we enjoy the quiet and very family atmosphere here. The beds are good, the balconies to the Baltic Sea are worth your money. The bathrooms have real windows, it's very clean, a lot of little things decide such a comfortable situation, and there's always something for us here, which is also due to the very friendly staff and not just the location. Breakfast is very varied even in the winter with a few guests.

Wonderful views of the Baltic Sea and harbour

The rooms are large enough (comfort rooms) and have a balcony with a perfect view of the sea and the harbour. Everything was very clean and the beds were also very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good and rich. The entire staff was very friendly and very helpful. I can only recommend this hotel further. You can also walk well from the hotel to the Hochuferweg (king's chair) and along the coastal road of the chalk rocks.
