A few comfortable rooms with good beds and a cabin bathroom...20 minutes from Treves and a little more from Bergenkastel, in a village in the middle of the vineyards...beautiful area...very convenient little deej.

Good value for money

As you would expect in rural Germany, a spotlessly clean, comfortable room. Ours had a terrace with a view over the river.....ideal for an al fresco meal on a Monday night when so many restaurants are closed.
Light room, good firm beds, smallish shower/wc, all to a high standard. Good breakfast....very German in style, but as that suits us, we had no need of anything else.
The owners are also vintners, so you can buy wine for the evening and pay at the end, or buy wine to take home. Adequate car parking on site.
3 mins walk to the river bank, but great views of the vineyards on the opposite bank from the terrace.
While we were there, the road to the larger nearby town was closed, so that meant a few miles of detour, but usually easy access to the restaurants in that town: we did not try the Schleich restaurant.
Good road access to Trier, and along the banks of the Mosel river ....with plenty of wine on sale direct from the vintners.
Very keen prices.
We would certainly use it again

Good pension in a charming village

We were here last weekend, and we were very satisfied in ourselves. The rooms are bright and spacious. Also very clean and equipped with everything necessary (fön, boiler, shampoo...). The landlady is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast offers a large selection, so for everyone involved... the breakfast time can be determined by themselves. For small children there is a swing on the lawn. But respect for those who did not know this: a cot for (even) small children is charged extra. But there was a nice stay!

Nice, clean pension

A classic pension room - very good mattresses, very clean, tiny bathroom - but only enough for 1-2 nights. Our room had a large terrace - generous in nice weather (we were too cold unfortunately). Very friendly and helpful hostess.

Short trip

A pleasant guesthouse with charming owners in a very quiet location by the river. Excellent breakfast. Great walk along the river bank.

However, please check your room for drain smells before accepting it.

Charming but...

The negative: the price/performance ratio. I booked because it was given the impression that it would be a relatively spacious room with a normal ceiling height and not a mansard room with a plastic nasal cell under the roof. For that, the room price was too high. There's something comparable in the area that's much cheaper. The towels saw better days and were actually disposed of. The bedding/rooms had a floor odor... which was not detectable. The breakfast was expandable. The breakfast should have been offered at least. The positive: The breakfast was cleaner. The mattresses were very nice. The room was quiet.
