A large room with a balcony to the street, a good shower, free parking, a delicious dinner, a refrigerator with drinks in the lobby, a trust fund, breakfast was fine, but nothing special.

We would come back

One night stop on our way to Italy. Great surroundings for a hike if we had time. Great meal. Both the schnitzel and the cordon bleu were delicious.
Comfortable and clean beds. Good shower.
Interior is slightly dated but has good charm because of it.

Passing through

The land hotel is about 10km from the place Schlingen in the middle of the Markgraflerland. As described above absolute peace in the middle of nature. The double room under the roof was pleasantly large, the bathroom (shower) is also pleasant and clean. Finally a showerhead where water also comes out! The hotel also has a sauna we did not use again, as the Therme Bad Bellingen (beautiful sauna and bath) and also Bad Badenweiler is nearby. The hotel should not need an elevator. The destination hostel has a Wednesday evening. The food is really delicious. The early stages are not enough. But of course there are also plenty of good wine and superfluids.

Whoever seeks peace and nature is right there!!

If you want an authentic experience of staying in the Black Forest, this place will do it for you. The owners are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is perfect for exploring locally (e.g. Schloss Burgeln) and for a foray into France (e.g. Colmar) and Switzerland (e.g. Zurich or Basel). The food in the restaurant was varied and delicious. Some of the rooms have balconies. There is ample parking on site. The only downside I can think of is that there is no elevator, and some of the rooms are one or two flights of stairs up.

A gem of a place!

On a sunny weekend in October, we briefly entered the Landgasthof Graf. The map is authentic for the region. The quality is very fair. The service was truly hearty. We'll be back!

Typical bath

The Landgasthof Graf, a country inn is located in a quiet farming village not far from Basel. The Markgräflerland is a popular tourist destination during the cherry blossom season. End of April the nice weather allowed to dine on the terrace. 
The standard double room #23 was prepared for single use. Ii is spacious with rustic furnishings. The room was newly renovated and the bed offered a good night's sleep. The room and the bathroom were spotless clean. The bathroom is equipped with a shower cabin. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. 
Unfortunately, the hotel has no elevator. The rooms are all on the first floor. 
The menu is limited to schnitzel. Steaks and roasts. I ordered a Sauerbraten which was excellently prepared. The dishes are freshly prepared, which explains also relatively long wait. The portions are generous.  The prices somehow reflect already the higher price levels of nearby Switzerland but remain fair. 
The breakfast buffet was rather dull and easily expandable.

Nice country inn with traditional German food

We were very pleased with the food and would recommend it again and again. With nature, hidden you meet a good kitchen, good wine and a place where many young people visit. Unfortunately the restaurant was so full that we couldn't understand each other.

...it's at the Landhotel Graf in Schliengen Obereggenen. It's beautifully situated, but a bit sleepy but just that's why it's lovely. Good cuisine, pleasant ambiance.

Traditional and cozy.

We spent a total of three nights here with a larger group. As a conclusion, I can say that the surroundings were not as quiet as any small place would suggest. The room was nicely furnished, I could sleep perfectly in the bed. The bathroom was large enough, but there was a defect at the shower door. This was probably not noticed, because the cleaning service opened and didn't close it for work. Only in the morning is the environment not as quiet as any small place would suggest. In the past, small driving agricultural vehicles, lawn mowers and the neighborhood were clearly accessible. The bathroom was large enough, but there was a defect at the shower door. The choices at the breakfast table were very good. But the price for the double room with breakfast was absolutely not worth the price, but it wasn't worth a whole lot at the time. But the service was absolutely negative, and the only service was to be avoided at any time.

Recommended with small sections

A very nice hotel very clean and cozy I was working for breakfast was immense between sweet and salty we from Basel stayed here one night we ate at the restaurant the meat was great
