I was received very kindly, which was all the time during my three-day stay, like a red thread running through it. The room was flawless and clean. The breakfast on the terrace was just recommended. I would come back anytime.

Just to recommend!!

I had a very pleasant stay in the family-run hotel. The rooms are functionally furnished, certainly the rooms could be a little more modern, but if you're on the road all day, this was no problem for me. The room was otherwise clean and there was nothing to object to. The breakfast was very well organized and there was plenty of choice. Most of all, the view from the terrace to the mountains for breakfast was a nice start to the day. Also, as is usual in many guest houses, there is a self-service refrigerator with drinks.

Simple hotel in a nice location

There wasn't a visit, so I was just evaluating the dealings with potential guests. Booked and then Corona came in between. A cancellation was rejected despite the government's ban on tourist travel and a refund of the full amount already paid. We could still travel anyway (that it was forbidden, the owner didn't seem to care). After that, the gentlemen were no longer available, didn't respond to emails or even to messages on the answering machine. Our offer that we could come on another date was also ignored. Fortunately, I booked through booking and could get my money back. But this is not the way to deal with customers! no recommendation.

An absolute negative example of hospitality

We stayed for 3 days in this great guest house. Very well maintained house with great flair. A little out of the way for those looking for peace is right here. Breakfast buffet very good, from 7 to 10 a.m. very good time. We recommend this hotel with good conscience!

Very nice guest house

This Hotel has to be the No. 1 place that We have ever stayed at.  I have brought Friends along, and They have all agreed that this place is awesome.  Will always book this place, even if We are 100 miles away.

Amazing

We did our homework on a trip to Schliersee Autumn 2017 and figured this place would work out well for a Summer 2018 holiday. In between the busier Schliersee and Spitzingsee lakes with great views overlooking the Weiderstien and surrounding mountains. As expected the location is super tranquil - just what we were looking for.

We were welcomed by the Owner on arrival and shown around their very impressive establishment. We liked the very reasonably priced honesty bar which had a great selection of wines and beers. Our room was Tyrolean style, clean and comfortable with a balcony with a great view. It was cleaned every day for a week including changing towels and sheets. We liked the hot air heater on a timer outside the shower and have since planned to get one for our home.

Breakfast was not really to my taste but was fine and the coffee was great. I am sure that if I had asked for a full English they would have gone out their way to produce one as they did with the soya milk my partner requested. There is a large balcony area outside where you eat breakfast with great views. 

We had great weather so did almost everything planned (Paddle Boarding, Hiking Rotwand Mountain, relaxing by the Lakes and exploring further down the valley). We only ate out twice in the evening in Schiersee (Spatzle @ Hotel Terofal is good) and tended to stock up with food from Netto in Schliersee to enjoy on our balcony. The restaurants in Neuhaus looked pricey (30 euro main course) so we did not try. 

That said, We found the area in general very reasonably priced (Beer 3 euro, Aperol 4 euro, Ice cream 1 euro! Paddle board hire 15 euro per hour, Local dishes 10 euro)and very tourist friendly, I think we were the only Brits in the Hotel/Town/County! Unbelievable really considering most UK airports offer return flights to Munich for around £70 and our hire car cost £80 for the week. 

We visit the Alps regularly and try not go back to the same place but have to admit we have developed a real soft spot for this place which is stunning to say the least.

Perfect

The aim was to get away from hustle and bustle but keeping all options open. This small family B&B offers precisely that: on the edge of Schliersee, close to the alpine slopes of Spitzing and surroundings but also not far away from the cities of Rosenheim or even Munich.
Breakfast is comprehensive (there is no fried bacon or black pudding- but this is Bavaria) - and there are plenty of excellent hosteleries in the towns and villages nearby.
The couple who run this house couldn’t be more friendly or helpful - you can be as quiet or busy as you decide (even with short notice and depending on the weather).

Sylvester Retreat

I am not here to judge accommodation, but the treatment of potential guests. Rooms for one night are not granted here in May. Although the homepage only refers to the main season from June onwards. Single rooms are also not granted. After polite inquiries and the reference that you would like to pay a surcharge, you are more than vehemently and clearly rejected. It is a shame if tourism in Bavaria is so full. I understand quite well how capitalism works, but I find it simply repugnant what business is available here during the day.

Hospitality is different

A beautiful house quietly located not far from the Schleier lake to the bathroom, with beautiful clean rooms and an excellent breakfast, a very nice host family who round off the pleasure of the holiday.

Holidays

Whether it's snow or ice, sun or rain, the family guesthouse is a real blessing. Nice care, beautiful, clean and pleasant rooms, great beds, varied, very rich breakfast, everything from the very best! The audience is pleasant, the children feel comfortable, everything is right here at acceptable prices. I like being here.
