We rented an apartment for 3 nights as we wanted to visit Heide PArk, which is only 10 mins by car away.  The accommodation has everything we want in a holiday home - quiet above all, enough space for everyone to sit comfortably in the evening, well equipped kitchen etc etc.  There is a bread service, so you can order fresh bread rolls most days - Sundays not, but they did anyway.  The bathroom was lovely, the beds comfortable.  In the large entrance hall there is a fridge, with eggs, milk and bottles of beer - all reasonable priced ( beer and milk 1€ each, which for the location I thought was entirely reasonable.  However 2 things stopped me giving it a better score - the first was mosquitos in the apartment - we didn’t realize until the first morning, when our son showed us his bites - then every night we hunted, and found the little pests and managed to reduce the problem.  The accommodation is in the country side, perhaps they should be expected, however had they mentioned the problem in their literature we could have either prepared or being honest, booked somewhere less rural.  The second slight problem was the wifi - we didn’t get any reception in the accommodation or reception area - we could have complained but didn’t, just did without for a couple of nights.  If you can live with mosquitoes, it is a lovely place to stay.

Lovely quiet accommodation, but ...

This farm is an amazing place for families with kids to come to. The area is vast and although there are several apartments/houses one can stay in, there is room for everyone. The owners are friendly and relaxed and their animals and pets are great for the kids and their parents. Feeding the rabbits was a daily ritual - several times a day! What with the Kettcar, the tyre swing, the trampoline, the slide, see-saw and various outbuildings as well as a bit of forest to explore, you could easily spend a couple of days just mooching around the farm. Several items are available from the fridge in the main farm house and you can order rolls the previous night for personal delivery to your door the next morning. We did not go to Heidepark but it was temptingly close!
