We come here several times a year. It's like coming home. You feel totally comfortable right after arriving. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The view of the Watzmann is a dream. The breakfast buffet leaves no wishes open. Of sausage, cheese, homemade marmalades, juice, cereal, eggs, fruit salad, etc. Everything is available. We always like to come back to the King's Lake.

Home country

We stayed in the guesthouse for two nights and were completely satisfied! The rooms were completely sufficient and the view from our balcony was wonderful. The garden of the house is very well maintained! The breakfast is fresh and probably with many regional products, whatever you taste! The hosts are very friendly and helpful!

Family Flair at the King's Lake

We felt very well, the kindness, the great breakfast and the cleanliness totally convinced us. Only the bathroom is a little small, but we liked the balcony very well and the view was beautiful.

Extended weekends

The accommodation is absolutely recommended for a weekend. Between Watzmann, Königssee and Berchtesgaden is very well located. The breakfast is good and rich and you get a fresh snack if you want. Unfortunately we didn't have a balcony, which was connected to a room to the street. Balcony is also not necessarily necessary because you can use the beautiful terrace overlooking Watzmann. There is a discount because we didn't have a roll shop and it was therefore at half six taghell. Whether the other rooms have darkening possibilities, I can't say. Whether this is not a golden one.

Weekends at the Royal Lake

The rooms are very nice and lovely. We also had a balcony, everything was very clean and pleasant. We had a very good view of Watzmann and the Lake of the Kings, not far away. The delicious and varied breakfast rounded off the offer very well. Besides, everyone is very attentive and friendly, which we liked very much. Due to the cold winter weather in April, we decided that we had to come here again to expand our hiking tours and perhaps see more impressively beautiful nature - you are right in the middle. You also walked to the Mountain Gardens quickly and had many opportunities for activities and then you had a good meal.

Very nice and pleasant pension

This was a great place to stay and an easy walk to the main bus station. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The people here were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and everything was fresh and plentiful. 

Wonderful place

The room was comfortable and clean, free wifi available everywhere, the balcony had a beautiful view of the mountains. Although there was no fridge in the room, there was one in the common room that could be used by all guests. Breakfast was excellent. Above all, the friendliness of the staff makes it really worth recommending, always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay perfect.

Well-located, clean, comfortable with very friendly staff

Very polite, friendly, attentive staff, the language of communication is German, English. Free parking. Excellent breakfast: meat and cheese slices, eggs, yogurt, mussels, fresh fruit, tea, coffee. The rooms are spacious, comfortable. We were offered a two-room room with a refrigerator and microwave, instead of the standard one, for the same price.

It's a very beautiful place.

The expectation of seeing the stunning beauty of the Alps was fully rewarded. With a real Tyrol beer, you can look at the views of the surrounding area of Königssee for an infinite amount of time. The snow-capped peaks, the green meadows, the blue sky, the birds, the sweet sunshine... to all this adds the comfort of this guesthouse. And - oh my god! - I'm in heaven!
