Apartment Sonnenberg is a 2-bedroom Apartment located on the 1st floor of Haus Moselpanorama.  It is large, bright, and clean with excellent kitchen, sitting and bathroom facilities.  Kitchen was very well equipped with cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and much more. Wifi is available and free.

It is located within 5 minute walk of Cochem old-town, Penny supermarket, bicycle hire is next door, just across the road is the Mosel and it's a brisk 10 minute walk to Cochem castle.

It is close to a busy road but as the bedrooms were located at the back of this Apartment, road noise was not a problem.  (This may not be the case for the studio Apartment).   

There is a small balcony with chairs and table; great for watching the boats and barges on the river.   And of course, the town, the castle and the vineyards are all part of the view.  Beautiful!

There is dedicated on-site parking (no additional charge).

The owner was not available to meet us, but a lady who lived in the same building welcomed us and showed us the facilities.

The was nothing to dislike.  (To be picky, the hall and stairs leading to the Apartment are in need of a re-decorating but the Apartment itself was excellent).

Apartment Sonnenberg - a beautiful 2-bedroom Apartment with fabulous views

It was a delightful place for our stay. Our large studio apartment was exactly as described and pictured. It was comfortable and cheerful with a nice sitting area. The Mosel is just across the road and you also have beautiful views of the village and castle. It was one of the best stops on our extended holiday.

A fine apartment with a great view

We stayed at the one room apartment, and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was extremely clean, nicely decorated and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped, and no complaints about the bathroom either. The apartment was facing towards the Mosel, so it had a nice view, but as it was on the "right" side of the river, it wasn't too hot even though it was pretty hot outside.

The apartment is within a walking distance from the city centre, and a bit further away from the railway station. There is a good grocery store nearby, as well as many restaurants and cafes. The lady who gave us the keys was very welcoming and helpful, and explained to us all the necessary things. Also, the pricing is reasonable compared to the quality.

We were really happy with our stay here, and would warmly recommend!
