We had booked through a booking portal for 2 nights. Then, in the late afternoon, we entered this hotel - the room was at the same time lobby, reception, café (on the weekend) and breakfast room. So no one to see was ringing - multiple times. No response. No sound, inspecting the room behind the counter - nothing. Then suddenly a young lady popped up, asking vague questions about what we wanted here (what good!). We called our request, namely a room key. She showed us the key juice mentioned in the booking confirmation - it was very well hidden, the hotel stretches over several buildings. No family service and no snack afterwards, we tasted the breakfast, the breakfast was only opened.

Once and never again

Small central hotel in Sommerach with parking right at the door. Spacious room & bathroom. Good selection at the breakfast buffet and the opportunity to sit outside in beautiful weather. There are a number of wineries to visit within walking distance of the hotel and a number of restaurants for the evening's dinner, can also recommend Vinoteket by the square.
Franken gets hot in the summer so a little too hot in the room at night. Our room was in an annex and it was a steep flight of stairs to carry our luggage for.

Vineyard visit in Sommerach

We stayed in the WINBLATT for one night. The hotel rooms were all booked, so we booked an apartment in the side house. This was large and modernised. The furnishings and bathroom were very attractive. New and modern. Our joy was diminished, however, by the brightness of the house. The breakfast buffet is small, very well stocked with regional products and offers enough to get through the day. The service is unobtrusive and friendly. When the house is full, parking is limited, but here you can avoid the side streets. The price ratio is a little too high, but the main hub is currently mega-in and possible.

On average...

On our wine trip to Frankenland this year, we chose the Hotel Weinblatt. The hotel is very well maintained and is an ideal starting point for excursions to the Frankish wine region of the Main Loop. The room is very clean and large. The breakfast buffet is very rich and in a pleasant ambiance. At night you can enjoy the night's noise, as no street noise disturbs the peace. We felt very comfortable.

Nice guided guest house - easy to recommend

We had booked a room on the Internet. When we arrived, we were given the room key in a keybox by a list of names. Good idea! The room was a large, very good bed, bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast was plentiful, the service was quite friendly. We will be back!

In the middle of the night

With simple and clean rooms, a comfortable bed and good free German breakfast, it's hard to imagine needing something more. This is a tiny town in the middle of Franconian wine country with few lodging options. It's nice that there's a good one for a good price.

A rich breakfast; clean

We were here on a weekend with friends. Our room was nice and equipped with everything we needed. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet with a rich selection of homemade hearty outfits. Afternoon coffee and cakes are also available on the terrace or in the café. Unfortunately the wine selection in the minibar is not so large. When you travel in a group, you would like to sit down a little more in the evening. From other holidays, we know the possibility of serving at a general wine bar and sitting in a living room together. Since the weather was good, we ate together on the terrace, which was possible, however. Unfortunately, only at 23 o'clock is the neighbors and the other goods disturbed - which, of course, is not a nice suggestion - we will be offended by a nice attitude!

Have a nice stay.

We felt very comfortable around here. Everything was fine - rooms, breakfast, supernettes and friendly staff, parking just behind the house, fast Wi-Fi, and a magical place to go for great walks.

It's really cozy.

Very comfortable small hotel with huge rooms. Dining options in the restaurant /weinstub of the same owner. Ideal for a step in the Franconia vineyard.
