The Sunnenhof is a small family-run hotel and is well-characterized by the usual hotels. Here you can relax, the unique atmosphere formally forcing you to accelerate. The owners run it very lovingly and you feel like a guest. But whoever expects modernity is wrong here. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, very well maintained and clean. The breakfast is good and is served in a good form. In good weather, this can be taken in a beautiful indoor courtyard. There is also an impressive historic wine cellar. This is all rounded off by an excellent personal kitchen, the owner cooks here and at a very high level.

A really nice little hotel with something special, lovingly furnished and tastefully decorated, nice clean room, great menu with wine and also nice breakfast, a house that is run with a lot of love.

Very nice hotel, great food

Very nice small family-run hotel. The restaurant - here is the slogan Here the chef cooks personally has a positive connotation. Because the menu he prepared had refinedness. But the wines recommended and brewed by his wife at every walk make the meal a delight. Highlight was - then the walk, which is not found on any menu - the walk to the wine cellar. Selected wines from the summer house wine houses were presented. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow one to enjoy a shovel in the hotel's courtyard.

Sunflowers - small, fine, recommended

Good rooms with starry skies, really nice hotel! Unfortunately, perhaps because of the long Corona period, the warmth has been lost. As a child-friendly one, we would not call it or recommend it. It has become a little quiet in summerhouses overall....

Idyllic hotel in the heart of the city

I wish we could have left a trail of tips as a family, but unfortunately we've never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. The food was average, the prices were high, a few kind words would have flown over the dirty bathroom.

Unfortunately very unfriendly

Even if you stay under Corona conditions, everything is fine and a clear recommendation. Beautiful, the old wine cellar is redesigned. A very special atmosphere, tempting to buy good wines with excellent advice.

I know a lot of hotels in Lower France, this idyllic and central hotel in Sommerhausen is for me the number one and I have already been able to convince others of this. Here you can feel the Frankish culture formally, there is no luxury but everything you need for a hotel stay. The rooms are large enough and very clean. WiFi is very fast and free. There is a small and romantic courtyard where you can retreat wonderfully. The breakfast is personally taken care of by the owner and there is nothing left. The price/performance ratio is outstanding.

The Secret Tip

Very cozy and frankly decorated, quiet hotel in a central location of the idyllic summer house. Owned by the owners. Well-off, different from the cold atmosphere of many big city hotels. Everything very clean and on the rooms is all you need for a hotel stay. Good breakfast. Beautiful courtyard. Drinks at affordable prices in the SB. Fast and simple Wi-Fi.

Comfortable and central

It is a relatively small hotel in the heart of an idyllic wine town. Not only the rooms but all the public spaces are very tastefully decorated and everything is strikingly clean. Drinks (even warm) are provided on a self-service basis. WiFi is free, very quickly with simple login. In d3n rooms it is very quiet, the house is owned and this is clearly noticeable. The house has no restaurant, but this is no disadvantage because the very good restaurant No. 12 belonging to the same owner is located in the immediate vicinity and is also highly recommended.

Perfect and comfortable

This is a beautiful little Frankish hotel which in a way represents the culture of Frankish society. It is well-off compared to average hotels by a very personal touch and the personal presence of the owners. The facilities are of course not luxurious, which would be lacking here. The rooms offer little but what you need and are also very comfortable. Wi-Fi is fast and easy. Small but sufficient breakfast buffet. Prices are absolutely reasonable. I'll be back and can only recommend a visit.
