I expected a basic hotel but wasn't expecting a small pillow and a duvet for a single bed across a double bed! They don't turn on the heat until the evening and consequently I was very cold one night. The single duvet was not enough covering. The staff spoke exclusively German so it was very difficult to explain problems. The shower was excellent: immediate hot water and very good pressure. Only a single envelope of shampoo was provided and a miniature bar of soap. Towels and sheets were not exchanged during my 5-day visit but they were supposed to be changed after 3-days. The breakfast was a typical German buffet and was very good. The location is pretty but you definitely require a car if staying here. I left early on my last day, before breakfast was served, but they would not refund my money for the breakfast I didn't eat!! WiFi is free, but only available in the lobby.

Please don't go here, the hotel was really not good. IT is was located in a old industry area, we got a room that was ok in size but it was not clean. The location of the hotel is far from the city and you need a car to get to civilisation. The poor guy in the reception did what he could to make us feel comfortable but the whole place was at is glance perhaps 25 years ago

Warning don't go to this hotel

I stayed here for 5 nights with a tourist group of 45 people. The rooms I found to be very clean and the towels were changed every 3 days. My room ( Nr 46) had a very bad odour in the bathroom but the other rooms I looked at were not affected. It is true that the hotel has a very box type look about it with no balconies but a terrace is available to sit outside when the wind is not blowing too much. The staff were very friendly and efficient especially in the eveenings. There is no form of entertainment in the evenings but if you want to visit Stralsund there is a bus service. It is a very quiet area beside a small dock area with small yachts. My conclusions are the hotel is good for charter groups but not for honey mooners.
